Hello all! I figured to make things easier on myself and my backlog and to do a little end of the year cleaning, I decided to make another backloggery account. I probably wouldn't have to do it if:
A) I took better care of this one
B) I could freely change my name if I wanted to
C) I stopped abusing the for games I haven't touched in centuries (which in the end, will have no choice but to start all over anyway)
D) Did I mention, poor maintanence?

I think the main reason I put it down was the combat system coupled with side-quest exhaustion. This time, I'm ignoring a lot of sidequests and only focusing on the ones that get me weapons. I spoke with Brain_Cleanser, and he told me what I needed to do for each ending. Since I don't really care about the platinum trophy, I'm going to focus on weapon completion so I can get all 4 endings.

I have a save file right before the end of part 1, so I can go back if I missed something. I don't think I did, although I left a few quests unfinished.

I actually picked up Nier years ago, and I'm just now trying to beat it. I initially played about 2-3 hours and wasn't really enjoying it. I ended up leaving it on hold for a while before Brain_Cleanser borrowed it and completely fell in love with it. Shinjeh then borrowed it for about a year (and never actually played it), and it just got returned to me a few weeks ago.

On a whim I decided to start playing it again, and I'm really enjoying it this time. The music, dialog, and environment design are all top-notch, and the story is beginning to get good. I'm only about 1/4 of the way into it, so I should have it beaten in a week or so

I've only played just a very little so I haven't formulated an opinion yet!

Oh hey, new backlog theme after a bajillion years. The effort to compile this one was just not with me. Playing 1.5 Remix, still need to finish other games, but the effort to do that is also not with me. I'm moving at a rather slow pace, but hey! At least I'm playing video games~

Real world does that, doesn't it?
At least you can buy more games with the money... just don't have the time to play them. z__z
