I'd love for Irem's games to hit Game Room. Heck, I'd love for anyone else's games to hit Game Room. I think most publishers are going with regular XBLA releases though because they think they would get more attention for them? Also that way they could charge more than three dollars per game, and include online multiplayer and the like. I still think it sucks though

I don't know what Microsoft is thinking. I find it alarming how little I hear about Game Room's Windows 7 releases though. I didn't even know they had started to come out until nearly a month after the fact.

Oh, that doesn't sound good. I hope they don't take down the store soon; there are still some games I want to buy eventually.

Nice job on beating MvC3 with all characters. I still have around 20 more people to clear it with, myself. This kind of task is always kind of annoying, especially when the endings are as lackluster as they are in MvC3.

That was so random.

"If you don't keep a precious thing within you... you will lose it."

Is a direct quote from Angle's Egg's English subtitle translation. Little engrish in that "within you" is just supposed to be "with you." I mean, keeping an egg that big "within her" might be rather.... painful, I think.

And Netflix wont find In The Aftermath - Angels Never Sleep. I'll have to look for it elsewhere, it seems. The format will be difficult.

I really wish Sunset Riders would come out. I've been wanting to play that game for forever. I was considering the Super NES version, but I've heard it's censored and is missing some content from the arcade version, so I'd prefer to just play the arcade game in Game Room. But we have no idea if they changed their mind about releasing it, or if there's just an error with the pack itself, or whatever else it could be.

I wasn't even aware the Tower of ROM DLC had come out. I haven't been able to find much info about it. Was it available for a period of time, but pulled because it wasn't working?

I hope that whoever is working on Game Room right now doesn't abandon the 360/PC versions of the game. Once the Windows 7 version comes out (whenever that is; they're more secretive about it than Nintendo would be ), they should start releasing more games, but I don't know if they will go that far.

Haha, you know it, man! I'd love to see a new sprite-based Ghostbusters game: the potential is unreal, given the animation that today's systems allow for. Still need to try that 3-D Ghostbusters that Atari published in '09.

I really dig that banner of yours, by the way, and I distinctly remember an acidonia on the Bogleech.com forums--coincidence? I think not...!

Chronicles I do know about, but I remember it was released in the 2000's, long after SOTN had impressed the world with its Metroidvania gameplay.

Supposedly Game Room has about 2 packs left of licensed games before they have to license some new games. I certainly hope they do get some games from new companies like Namco & Taito.

Regarding Game Room & XBOX Indie Games. I think it has to do with people not wanting to spend their money and something that may or may not be a sure thing. For example, "Breath of Death VII" is a fantastic RPG, but not many know of it do to being an Indie Game, when it'd sell better if it was published by a bigger company like Square-Enix. Perception and Awareness are powerful "make or break" elements to lower tiered awareness-ed games. You just have to do research before you buy.

Game Room is a whole 'nother beast. It's basically the 360's Virtual Console, but was presented as a Free thing. And while yes, the application is free, the games aren't and that turned a lot of people off (What? You expected a ton of free games? You should know Microsoft is shortened to M$ for a reason (In the direction of the general public)). But if you can get past that, there are a lot of gems there that you can play legally. For example, I love "Mr. Goemon" but it wasn't available in America till Game Room came along (Yeah i could've gotten the rom, but before game room the game was barely made aware to the general public, even I didn't know). Game Room just needs to be a little more responsive to fan comments (which they are moving more towards) and license up some new games.

But I bet you weren't expecting a book as a response to your comment, so I apologize if this was annoying. But hey, I see you got an Ultra Kaiju in your banner, so you're okay in my book.

Patapon 2 is only $7.99 on the PSN. I'm finding it easier than the first, so far. It seems like grinding for items to evolve your army is going to be a must! I've been doing quite a bit of it..

I find "bopping" my PSP w/ the beat makes it much easier. Whether I'm pushing buttons or not, I keep that thing moving! I've also found that wearing headphones can help, to block out any background noise and/or distractions.
You! invaders! get you the hot bullets of shotgun to DIE!
