I haven't updated for nearly a year now. Even my wonderful banner that completed the "cut yourself" motif I went for went down when my old server space died. Off and on for the last few weeks, I've had a few people ask me about updating things around here.

My absence is not for a lack of playing things. If anything, I've been playing/finishing more things than usual for a few months now. It's just too much of a chore to record my stuff as I play it. I'm not generally in front of my laptop when I'm playing something, and using any of my mobile devices that are around me all the time is kind of a hassle with the way the site is set up.

In my more grumpy moments, I've groused that there are many things that can be done to improve things here, but the truth is that I don't want to take anything away from Drumble and anyone else involved in creating and maintaining the site. This was (and I'm sure is) a hell of a lot of good work. I certainly haven't done anything remotely as successful or popular. Unfortunately, it just doesn't remotely fit me.

I might change my mind and come back, but it won't be for a little while yet at least.

I totally agree with you on Justice for All. A highly underwhelming game until that final case. Playing the Ace Attorney games for the first time recently, I was wondering if they were ever gonna pull a certain plot twist. I'm glad they did. It made it awesome. XD

Huzzah for fellow Mario Sunshine supporter! I don't understand the hate for this game. Mario has never been as much fun to play as before or since. All the crazy acrobatics you can do, and of course the best thing ever known as the Spin Jump, make this my favourite Mario game to play, and just mess around in. It also has the best hub world I've seen in a game, since there's a LOT to do in it, rather than it just being an empty void that connects the levels.

Also I give a high five for being a fellow Mighty Flip Champs fan, and a double high five cross the sky for S Ranking everything. (I have too)

Oh, and make sure you stick with 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. It's amazing. I think you'll find you'll enjoy it more though if you get all the bad endings first. : )

No stacked monitors, although, we certainly have enough extra monitors around to have half a dozen games going at once.

I'm playing through specific story arcs as one side, ie; Dantooine and Grove, and then doing it right after as the other side. Usually no more than half an hour, maybe sometimes pushing an hour of progress before I switch back.

Save files are tricky though. At first I only had one file for Light side and one for Dark side. However, after accidently overwriting my Dark side file and having to play through it again I keep three backup files for each side. I'm so paranoid now. ;_;

KOTOR is a really great game. I wish they had the second one on Steam, so I not longer have my original Xbox.

Guild Wars? Interesting. Did you play it much in the past?

I level grinded in the first palace on a single respawning bouncing skull and his sad slime friend. I walked out of that Palace with Attack 7, Magic 7, and Life 8. I like to think that it wasn't the crystal that caused that palace to collapse, but Link punching through the foundation with his bare fist.
