I have Ever17 on my wishlist bc Gulcin recommended it to me, but I haven't played it yet.

Yeah, I also like being acknowledged by a game ^^ but to be honest I felt betrayed when in Undertale it turned out I'm not the avatar myself ; p Their name is Frisk? Not my name?? RUDE. Give me back my monster friends.

I love Niko too, but I chose them to stay. I mean... they've already found friends in this place, they were respected as a messiah on top of that too, and it's not they would die if I didn't choose them, but the other characters would.

I liked OneShot a lot, but not enough to replay it to learn the True Ending. I've even bookmarked a walkthrough for it to just watch it later ( [Link] ) but never did that...
Even though in the True Ending you finally interact with the talking fox character more : pp

Symbolism in Yume Nikki - well, you may just not analyse it and enjoy the game as it is I think.
It's more of a disturbing dreaming, a peaceful exploration, than a game with a plot. But dreams sometimes reflect our daily problems, right.
