The second Tao fight was certainly the more difficult of the two, but I found that simply buying powers did wonders for that fight (something I hadn't really done at all througout the game). I'm at a loss for their specific names, but there's one where you dive forward, twirling your cane, that you can spam a handful of times to shred the vast majority of his health and stun him with each hit, that I leaned on heavily. Some forums suggest that you can one hit kill him too while stunned, using the same move you do when you sneak up on normal foes.

Speed bombing was actually more stressful for me than the Tao fights. I found that if I tried to plant the bombs TOO quickly, the game often didn't give me credit for the plant and it would seemingly do no damage. IIRC, I think I did laps around the room, one bomb at a time, rather than trying to plant the 2-3 bombs needed to destroy each device.

Hope any of this helps, even if only a little. Those challenges certainly made Sly 3 the most frustrating of the triolgy..

I'm always down for Borderlands, but my schedule is pretty much crap for the next 3 months. Work + School = coming home at 7pm PST. My highest level is a 51 Hunter. I had a level 58 Siren, but my file was corrupted and so had to start over. Let me know your schedule so I can plan homework accordingly.
