Herald of Bak'laag: 500+ unfinished games
Treasure Hunter: 1000+ games
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Hey there! Sadly, I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, outside of booting it up and piddling around for about an hour. You could try messaging the creators over on their DeviantArt page: [Link] They're super-friendly, and I know they'd be glad to help you out.

I didn't respond earlier because I was feeling pretty sick but, since you suggested it, I went ahead and beat Life is Strange. Unfortunately I don't think it ended up kicking me in the feels...

I thought the concept was pretty interesting, but I ended up not really caring for any of the characters. So when anything bad happened to someone, I usually thought it was kind of funny. Maybe if there was more time spent on the characters, then maybe I would of cared a bit more but I'm not sure. Like Steins;Gate has sorta similar themes with characters learning about how you can't just mess around willy-nilly with time travel, but that had a HUGE amount of time to develop characters because it was so long (not that the games are similar gameplay-wise though).

I guess I also didn't like how a few of the important feeling decisions didn't really feel like there would of been much of a difference if I chose differently (other than maybe Chloe wouldn't of complained so much about my choice). The ending especially messed that up but, even if I ignore that, there were still a few times that I was pretty sure that what I chose didn't matter at all.

A lot of the gamey bits kind of annoyed me as well, like the part where you have to find 5 bottles in the junkyard. I did like it when you had all these clues and had to piece things together to find out where Nathan's hide out was, but too many of the gamey bits involved me wandering around wondering what to do. I guess that mostly could just be me not liking puzzles too much though.

Uh so... maybe I'm just a heartless being, but unfortunately it didn't really click with me I guess. Or maybe I'm just picky and don't like teen drama much. I'm still glad I tried it, since it was cheap and playing around with time was pretty neat, but it wasn't really my kind of game.

Haha, yeah this month is pretty big for new stuff isn't it? I don't really like to pre-order too many games (just too many cheaper games that I still don't have haha), but there's five or six games I really want this month. Although Root Letter might actually be coming out in November, but I'm not sure since only one article seems to say November 1 instead of October 28th. Not really a big difference though.

Speaking of pre-orders, have you pre-ordered the Atari Flashback Classic games? I'm wondering since the Amazon page and my order don't have release dates anymore. I didn't see any news about it getting a delay, so I was a bit confused by that

Ok, I just beat the first PSP Miku game To put it simply, it was pretty good! I think I liked f and f 2nd a little better, but I still enjoyed playing it.

Basically the differences between this and f and f 2nd:
- Only simple button presses (as in no longer button holds and none of those star notes)

- Nearly all Miku songs, minus four sorta kinda hidden unlocks

- Doesn't feel quite as smooth. A bit hard to describe what I mean, but I think it's kind of like 30fps vs 60fps. Like I wouldn't notice anything wrong with a 30fps game, but if I played the same game in 60fps then back again to 30, I would think it felt off. In any case I didn't think it was a big deal and I got used to it pretty quick.

- You have to beat a song on Normal before you can play that song on Hard. Not sure what difficulty you like to play on but Normal was pretty difficult for me so it didn't matter much haha.

- No point progress bar. This was the thing I didn't like the most, as I had a hard time telling how well I was doing in the song. Plus I had no clue how close I was to different ranks, or if I just barely made Standard or something.

So if you liked f 2nd then I think you might like the first PSP one as well Not sure how the 2nd PSP one is, but looking at the manual, it looks like it's closer to the f games, as it has the longer button presses, more Vocaloid characters, and it might also have the progress bar. So uh... sorry about your wallet?

Oh if you do get the game though, you have to make sure to save. No auto saving here. Luckily I realized that before I turned off my PSP, but that would be a bad thing to forget to do.

Sure, I'll let you know! It's highly unlikely that they'll require much Japanese so I'll probably get to them sooner rather than later
