Out of all the games I've played this year, this is by far the most conflicted I've felt on a game. My biggest love/hate game. The visuals, gameplay, audio, and progression systems are all fantastic, probably the best in the series. However, the story the enemy variety, the boss variety, and the environment variety is a giant step back from Diablo 3. Furthermore, the need for a constant connection + all the server issues hurts the experience greatly. 8/10 when working right. 6/10 when not.

Good game. Decent graphics, good gameplay, awesome sound design, and enjoyable questin but HORRIBLE and I do mean HORRIBLE economy system and incredibly tedious inventory grind.
*update* The inventory grind is still there but has been eased with the addition of Crafting Bags. Also the One Tamriel update has made this game DRASTICALLY better. ESO Plus is well worth it now.
*update 2* Crashes regularly on XB1
*update 3* Runs like a dream on XSX

Fantastic game, great concept, good art, good sound effects, good combat, good level design, good soundtrack... leagues better then the big AAA games similar to this. The only drawback is the grind at end game.
Have it both digitally and physically.

The base MH Rise was already my favorite in the series thanks to its excellent gameplay that combines what I liked about Generations and 4 Ultimate with the good things in World but the new content that came with Sunbreak is superb. It has by far the best map in the series and the content is giving me 4 Ultimate vibes. I cannot recommend this game more!

Right out of the gate, this game is a significantly better workout then expected. It's a better workout then Just Dance, Wii Fit, Wii Sports, etc. It will work you.
The core game is also a lot better with it feeling like an RPG that you progress through, not just a bunch of mini games. Bumped it up to 5 stars because of this. Solid experience. I definitely recommend.

This game is a mixed bag. The visuals and gameplay are great, so is the sound design. The story is the weakest in the series since the original and some of the side quests are off putting. The big nerf to weapons, skills, and builds hurt the fun of the end game. At least the DLC is fun.

The online multiplayer setup, while not completely terrible, is far from ideal. It doesn't allow you to just make a room and keep going from beginning to end and you have to do stages multiple times because only the host gets progression. There's also some input lag.
All of that said, the gameplay is pretty fun and the experience is actually pretty fun with a good group of friends, just like the original version on GC.

Best version hands down. Way less glitches and issues, vastly superior controls, and it runs butter smoothe on my system at 1440p with the framerate rarely dipping below 90fps. It's also fully cross play and cross progression so all the progress made on XB1 has carried over.

This is one of the most graphically impressive games on Wii U and one of the most amazing open worlds ever in a game. The amount of side content this game has rivals MMO's.
