★★★★★ It's a match-three game. And it's free to play, too. But it has Pokémon elements, like Mega Evolutions, type effectivenesses, and special abilities. Your Pokémon can gain experience which makes them stronger, you can change some of their abilities, you can pretty much make up and train your own team... It can be pretty addicting, and they update it all the time, so it's a really big time sink, and it's my most played 3DS game to date, which is not a small feat.

★★★★★ An awesome follow up to the horror classic. The gameplay is similar, but the scope is bigger, and you can experience the events of the game from the viewpoint of two different characters. There are more scares, puzzles, and tense moments than before. The very beginning can be quite hard if you're trying to kill everything, but it becomes much more managable once you get more weapons.

☆☆☆★★ A meatier version of the side-game from Planet Robobot. It's free to play, which means time locked stuff if you don't want to pay... And you have to wait too much for my taste. The base game is fun, and there are many fanservice-y elements, but there are too few bosses which are constantly re-used. Best played in multiplayer, as the AI is really dumb.

☆★★★★ A very unusual fighting game with intuitive controls. I usually don't like these types of games very much, but this one is really easy to pick up, fun, and addicting. It also has a lot of creativity both in the character concepts, stages, modes, and the overall concept, which is always a plus. I'm really surprised how much I like it.

★★★★★ The original Mystery Dungeon game not tied to an already existing franchise, and it's awesome. It's very unforgiving if you don't prepare for the journey, even if the main game only consists of a single, 30-floored dungeon with villages sprinkled in there. If you die, you go back to the beginning and you revert back to level 1. Your interactions with other NPCs are kept, though, so you can make every attempt easier if you can get them to help you eventually. It's incredibly rewarding.

Cool! I have to say I wasn't expecting this to happen. Finally a proper way to shield. I'm sure many people will start guarding a lot more often now, and Lola Pop should be playable.

I can imagine most people playing as Lola Pop will use motion controls. They might be more unresposive than regular controls, but at least shielding with them feels natural.
Then again, I don't think Lola Pop will be a very popular character in the long run. Her ability looks like it's good, but definitely not as broken as Max Brass or Ribbon Girl's.

I guess they must have added rank 16-20 probably when Max Brass was released, just like they added S/S+ in Splatoon 1 after some months Ranked was available.
Glad I'm not the only one who finds shielding annoying.

Huh, 20 ranks? Every site I checked said 15 was the maximum rank.
Too bad I HATE shielding in ARMS. The shield button in the worst possible place. You have to stop moving completely to shield, thus exposing yourself. I wouldn't mind it half as much if you could use the right stick as opposed to the left one, or simply use L and set the special attack to just R. But as it is, it kinda ruins the game, at least for me.
When I played, shock attacks lasted just as much as freezing attacks. I guess they must have nerfed them somehow. As for knocking people out, I think it's because they were airborne. In my experience, most effects seemed to knock opponents out when they were jumping; when they got back up, the effect cancelled.
My strategy was as simple as using Ninjara with two Ramram (yes, Min Min's version), and frequently air-dashing without overdoing it. It got the job done.

Hey, is there really a Rank 16 in ARMS? I thought the max Rank online was 15. I stopped at 9 because I was satisfied, and I feared from there on out all I would fight would be either shock -> freeze -> grab players (and I can't stand that strategy, it's too stupid), or great Japanese players.

Puyo Puyo is really hard, I finally managed to beat it... On easy mode, I know this feels cheap but i'm marking it as because I physically can't beat anything harder than this. Hopefully when I get Puyo Puyo Tetris it will be easier than this. Also the music and sound effects got kind of grating after a while. I can safely say Mean Bean Machine did not age well. At all.

Also I've really been enjoying Retro City Rampage more because of the weirdest things. I fast forward through every cutscene intentionally so the missions become random out of context nonsense and it makes the game really funny to me, even funnier than it already is.

I'm thinking about getting the Mana Collection for Switch, (A.K.A Seiken Densetsu Collection) but the only problem there is the language barrier. I've played through Japanese games before without understanding them (The Yo-kai watch games) but I have to ask do you think Secret of Mana would be harder or more cryptic if you can't understand the text?

Retro City Rampage is pretty fun but I've barely played any GTA games before so the challenges are slightly hard for me. Also I find it pretty ironic that they announce a 3D Remake of Secret of Mana when you started playing it.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure why do I have so much trouble at fighting Mechanica. Maybe she just counters Ninjara.
I think I have trouble at dealing with ALL of her arms. They're big, thus they can deflect a smaller weapon like the Ramram (2 Ramrams was my weapon of choice), and they deal a ton of damage, while being not so easy to avoid. I also dislike how Mechanica can halve any damage from normal attacks if they don't hit their head.

Byte & Barq? That's an interesting choice for least favorite opponent. It can be a pretty disruptive duo, but Byte can't do much at all if you focus on destroying its dog constantly. The most annoying thing was dealing with that fiery weapon Byte has. When it's charged, it's hitbox is way too big and deals a lot of damage too.
My least favorite is Mechanica. For some reason, I have trouble dealing with all of her weapons. Max Brass and Hedlok were pretty bad too, I literally had to stall them out to win.

I started out with a fine place because Unity Power got consistently triggered, but this place faltered in the last day. I ended up getting 1 RML, and Speedup. Which is kind of disappointing but I'm used to it.
Also I remember playing Secret of Mana on an emulator back in the day it was pretty fun but I didn't get far, if I decide to get a SNES classic I'll have some fun with it again.

I see you have finished the level 7 GP in ARMS. How did the fight against Ninjara go? I heard Ninjara CPUs have inhuman reaction times and easily dodge many of your attacks. I'm mostly asking because I never fought against one, because I used Ninjara and you don't have to do a mirror match.

I saw it. Honestly, it looks great! It almost seemed like a concept art for a DLC character in ARMS, down to its weapons. You deserved that prize. (Coincidentally, dataminers discovered a character codenamed "Plant"
That's the best choice IMO, it's not worth it unless you want more Splatoon at all costs. Maybe a better time would be when more DLC is released. I think Nintendo will support the game with new content for 2 years or something.

Man catching Tapu Koko was really hard, I can't believe that abyssmal catch rate. Cost almost 20k coins for 2 full item runs (not counting complexity -1) to catch it, I hope Tapu Lele wont be this hard supposedly she's next.

Oh, cool! You got me curious now, what kind of character did you two design?
I haven't played Splatoon 1, so I can't say much about similarities. I did see some gameplay of the first game, though, and from what I could tell, Splatoon 2 is pretty much the same as the first game, but with more weapon types and more balance (although a couple weapons are still too good compared to others). It all comes down to you, really. Would you sink in 50+ hours to play Splatoon again, or do you feel like you should rather spend 60€ for another game?

Go back to ARMS, you. Clearly, you aren't missing out on anything fun or interesting.
On a more serious note, Luxray pretty much explained it. I tend to get many Ketchup players that are not too good (or don't collaborate), while the enemies are super coordinated most of the time. I got stuff done, but then I inevitably died, and nobody was ever there to backed me up. Also, disconnects. Tons of them.

He's just not having fun because fighting against your own team can be frustrating. Team Ketchup is just too good, and it's not his fault that there aren't enough people who want to be in Mayo.
