i've got a soft spot for late-nes era sunsoft. if youre interested, a while back i found some interviews with the designer [Link] and composer [Link]

hah hah, yeah - i've never consistently beaten the final boss any other way! getting the timing down enough that you are ready to either highjump over the kick or lead the homing shot away from you is just absurdly hard. i think it's possible to fight it on the ground but i've never managed to pull it off on anything other than sheer dumb luck.

it wasn't until my last playthrough that i noticed you're actually invincible during the animation where you change between forms, but that ties you up for so long (change > form with no attacks > change back) that there aren't a whole lot of opportunities to make use of it.

i've been waiting for things to calm down and get less chaotic before i settle down to play undertale, but it looks like i'll just have to start ASAP before the internet spoils everything in the game for me :U

whoa, not every day i meet another trip world fan. congrats on the no-damage run, can't imagine how stressful the dive-kicking rabbit in the final boss rush must have been!
