Good luck with that dragon! Chop its head off and hang it up on your wall.

That dragon is probably one of the harder bosses in the game, but beating it opens the game up and really introduces the systems that make Suikoden games so great.

You're right, actually. I just found the link on Gamespot:

Jeez, Capcom, milking it much? I'm not paying $20 for a physical case. $15 is a fair price. $5 extra for a retail box is just greediness. Most people played the digital version anyway. Although if the physical copy fixes the freezing glitches that plagued the PSN digital version, maybe I'll consider it after a price drop.

I'm still not pleased with Capcom making Ace Attorney 5 a digital-only release in NA.

Wait. They don't have retail copies in Canada? The retail box version of Ducktales: Remastered has been available at Gamestop in the States for some time now. But the 'boxed' retail version of Ducktales is essentially a code for a digital copy - with a box (and a collectible pin, if you preordered the retail version). So all you get for your $20 retail version is a digital code - in a case. It's a digital-only game across all platforms, no Blu-ray or DVD as far as I know.

There was a limited edition golden NES cartridge of the original Ducktales game released through Capcom, but that was a special promotion not released to the general public, and it was limited to only 150 units. [Link]

So yeah, if you were lucky enough to get that, you'll have a small fortune on your hands in about 10 years, if you keep it sealed.

To be honest, I almost never log on to Steam anymore. It has next to nothing I want to play, and I never buy anything there unless there's a massive Steam sale on it. If it's more than $10, I won't get it. I'm sorry, but I hate buying digital versions of games that feel more like a rental than anything else. I almost bought Hotline Miami on Steam awhile ago but passed on it, and now it's going to be free on PSN+ next month. So yeah. And GOG.com is better anyway since they'll actually support games that are buggy, and the games come with extras, like soundtracks.

So basically the only reason to log into Steam nowadays is to chat with you, I guess, at least until the next big Steam sale.

I've been on a retrogaming kick lately. I managed to find a copy of Shining Force CD for Sega CD. Not cheap, mind you, but as a Shining series fan, I felt it was something I needed to fill out my collection. Especially since I'm not interested in the next generation anytime soon, if ever.
