I know what you mean, I still didn't get if I'm more confortable with mouse + keyboard or pad, button mapping is not the best on pad, but iirc, you can custom it.
Anyway, I pretty much play it with pad now, but is just 'cuz I want to have a confortable seat
Game is ok, I expected worst tbh! Not a masterpiece, but not a bad game either, is kinda just "ok". Maybe a bit too easy on Normal for the Devolver Digital standards, don't you think?

It kinda bothers me they didn't tie up Phillipa/Yennefer situation with the Empire.

I think I need to double check but the outcome of the war is still the same as long as you help kill Ravoid and kill Djistrika. Basically Thaler (alive) pass along the peace truce successfully to that asshole and he'd back down and pull out.

My post game is all peaceful now. When I saw the emperor (without Ciri) at the end, he seemed to give less than a shit and basically told me to fuck off.

So really, I didn't need crown her for the war or peace when its already done.

I didn't like her dad very much so fuck him. And besides she commented that she loved traversing between worlds. I thought no way her being a Empress would allowed her to do that. So yeah, WITCHESS is better for her. :D

I died when they drank I've never. Oh man. I died again when Lambert showed up with the hat. I fucking died again when they dressed up! I TOTALLY went for all sorts of shit and giggles. It was awesome! :D

I'm still in awe of this game's developers taking a very personal matter to a real quest thing. Its... needlessly disturbing but somehow, I appreciate them a lot more for being... real about it. Even though the whole monster thing is ridicilous but I still like that they approached the sympathy with the Baron seriously.

Totally. I went as Emily, I had no idea that Corvo had freeze time, which is impressive in combination with all sorts of things.

SO many ways and they're ALL LETHAL! I was talking about non-lethal kill that was a pain in the ass.

I did get endings A, B and C though, and have a final save parked before D which I just watched. If you aren't aware when you get ending D the game literally erases all of your save files, and I may possibly go back at some point for achievement mop-up so I didn't want to do it only for that reason. But outside of doing the last level AGAIN in ~20 minutes for D I did run through all the endings.

I like the game but it's awfully clunky for a number of reasons, so I wanted to see all the story content but just kind of wanted to be done with it as soon as that was done. So even though stuff like the speedrun etc isn't hard I just wasn't really having a lot of fun mechnically with the game by the end. I honestly think the ridiculous sidequest grinding, especially in the Junk Heap, burnt me out badly on the game. I was telling Philia that I probably without exaggeration spent more time grinding out mats for various sidequests in the Junk Heap than I spent doing the rest of the story combined. It's pretty dumb.

I'm really glad I played it and I enjoyed how batshit insane it is (reading up on the entire backstory/timeline that isn't at all explained in the game is bonkers, especially when you find out who and how ties it to Automata), but it wasn't necessarily a lot of fun to play per se. I wish I had played it when it first came out, I probably would have been more tolerant of some of the controls and other things.

Oh interesting, I didn't know they had two expansions after that. I've and am playing on the playstation version by the way.

Of course I've played it. I wouldn't have asked about the sequel if I haven't. Most sequels tend to suffer from... sequelitis sometimes lol.

YES!!! Nier's music is GODLY. I absolutely adore their entire soundtrack! It was a bliss to play through!
