Ah. That's OK. The Phoenix Spear isn't a huge deal. It's the strongest spear, but it functions the same as any other and it's not a hard game anyway. Just a suggestion if you wanted to plow through to get to new cutscenes.

Yeah, only playthrough 1 and 2 are different. After playthrough 2, only the endings can change.

You're welcome. And I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

The Grimoire Nier book/online document is actually HUGE. It provides tons of background and additional details and clarification for the game's story and world. If you don't feel like reading it all though, you can also ask any specific questions on the game's GameFAQs board. There are several regular posters there that are great at answering questions.

If you want to make things go a little faster for New Game+ (though it's pretty short already), you can use the Phoenix Spear's dash attack (Triangle) and cancel the end into the roll evade. For moving, it's faster than running, and for fighting, it's a pretty powerful attack.

I would suggest prolonging boss fights though because they have new dialogue in New Game+ during battles, in addition to new cutscenes throughout the playthrough. You'll need subtitles on for the new dialogue.

Do keep in mind getting all weapons if you are going for anything beyond Ending B to get access to the later ones. (The last one only requires you to reload the save at the point of no return after you finish Ending C.)

It should become clearer later on, though even then the game tends to leave people with vague details and unanswered questions. And if you don't already have them on, it's a good idea to have subtitles on. If you enjoyed the game after beating it, I suggest you do a New Game+ / Ending B playthrough. It provides additional cutscenes and dialogue.

There's a sort of companion book called "Grimoire Nier" that's been translated online. I suggest you read some of it after doing New Game+ / Ending B if you liked the game.

Sounds good.

If you have to compare, how are the controls in comparison with say Mario Kart?
I always get worried when it comes to that, since some games (Muppet Race Mania, ModNation Racers) feel slippery on the tracks, especially when you are boosting.

Hi! Have you played the original VVVVVV on PC? I just want to know if what are the differences you can find out in the 3DS version of it? Thanks and have a good time playing the game!

I loved Swordcraft Story too, definitely one of the most underrated GBA games. I'm still upset that the third game never got localized, I hope I can muddle my way through the Japanese version without too much trouble.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom's "Across the Boarder" song is awesome!
BTW, is Disgaea 4 more simple than the previous Disgaea games (if you ever played them)? I liked the character designs but I find their system to be too complicated so I'm hoping Disgaea 4 lowers down the complexity...

If they would bring that Black Panther game of the series it would be just awesome. Gonna have to buy the 4th one soon. Just few trohpies from 3 anymore. I played Taiko on Japan. Always had Bill Contis Gonna Fly Now on my playlist. Theme from the Rocky movies. It was just awesome game. One of the few rythm games in the arcades that i was good at. Not fantastic but good that i was happy on my own performance.

Hi! How's the Xenoblade Chronicles? Does it deserve the amount of hype the game got so far?

As soon as I'm finished with VTM:B I'll have a go at it! By the way, if you ever decide to play VTM:B, make sure you get the 7.1 patch. [Link] Also, I'd recommend using a character with stealth abilities. If not, make sure you up your firearm skills. You'll need it.

Well, the 2000 was good while borrowing it. Though I just got a 1000 myself earlier (since they had no 2000s and a 3000 was $20 over my spending limit). Don't like the DPad as much but much better UMD drive. Pity loading is slower. I'm getting a newer system as soon as possible.

How come there's no Half-Minute Hero on PSN?! This calls for an outrage!!!

Putting that aside, I hope you're having fun with it! Is the story the same as the one on PSP?
its finally here!!!
