Amnesia: Memories

I finally got myself to finish Amnesia: Memories, and get the Platinum. It's not that much of an accomplishment - but I didn't enjoy certain aspects of the game, so I'm glad to be done with it!I ended up using a guide to complete all routes, but I di...

haha don't worry about that, I usually remember context

...in fact I still haven't replied to one person who asked me something 3 months ago because I want to answer with a piece of info that I still don't have and hopefully will have in a couple of days >_>

SO YEAH, I COMPLETED THAT BITCH OF A GAME AND YOU LIED, THERE WAS *EVEN* MORE STORY AT HR100 AND I HATED EVERY MOMENT OF IT. Why does MHW have such terrible postgame? Once you hit 50 the only thing you can do is a very slow grind of 4 monsters in order to get jewels in the gacha that is RNG hell, it's just no fun at all. Thankfully I played with some friends and there was the autumn event so I could do some event missions for faster HR but god was it awful

edit: about the psn thing, I do the same thing as you, I put it in PSN and then in original system I put the platform; I think that's how it should be done as that's where you're going to download it. For me it's just an easy way to check where should I get the game from, if it's ps4/vita/whatev I assume I have it as a physical copy and should check where the fuck it is, if it's psn then it's just the download page; psn will probably be alive whenever ps5 comes out and there're rumors about having backward compatibility, so if by any case it used your psn library, it would make even more sense to have it like now.

It also makes sense to me like that since I have a couple of megadrive games that were officialy released on PC, but I have them listed as PC games as I couldn't, you know, play it on a real megadrive. You also couldn't play the game without psn, so if it disappears by any chance then it would make sense to have it like a legacy "I HAD IT HERE" thing.

idk if im making any sense i just beat a really hard boss on valkyria chronicles and it's 2AM and I'm sleepy but anything works really so just do whatever you feel like as long as it's clear to you and you're having fun with it

I'm thinking of changing how I log PSN items, or at least my own purchases. Currently it's over 100 count. I use PSN/PSz to keep track of system specific games, but I was thinking of moving them to the system - this would change them to PSz/PSN.

I dunno if anyone will see this, but please give some input on my insanity sorting system idea

EXCUSE ME, THE RULES ARE VERY CLEAR: "The main objective has been accomplished. Usually marked by the defeat of a final boss and/or viewing of credits."

Tempereds are stupid anyway, they're not that hard but they're incredibly difficult to fight because of the tracks bullshit.

I knooooooooooow, but at the same time I never really feel like monster hunter games because they're a chore. What's the difference between killing a monster once and doing that same quest 8 times with different names lmao

also is it really a if you don't get every weapon, armor and jewel in the game?

one day later im still in disbelief myself

also rorona is the worst atelier game and it's hot garbage, especially if you come from the PS2 games like me

"but you can't compare! PS2 games are not real atelier games and they're just RPGs" well that's not even my point, how can you polish over 5 games a battle system to make it so, so good that it's still the best turn-based battle system I've ever played, to dumb it down to rorona levels where you just mash attack to win, using items in the endgame for the uberbullshit bosses.

Music is also easily the worst in the series, it's real fucking boring. Rorona is an idiot sandwich. Premise is also stupid, especially in my case. I tried to get all endings in one playthrough as I always do. SOMEHOW, I managed to fuck everything up, and the only ending I got besides the normal ending was THE FUCKING PIE ENDING. IMAGINE MY SUFFERING. I'm trying to play a game that is a fucking downgrade in everything; story, mechanics, music, for some stupid dumbass alchemy system that is not very fun and some "moe characters" that are really dumb, my only objective to save my fucking workshop, and after 3 grueling years of stupid ass assignments, Rorona goes and says: well, I actually don't care about alchemy what if I open a pie shop WELL WHAT IF I FUCKING END MYSELF RORONA??

really, I don't understand how anyone can like it, the reason I couldn't finish all my ending flags was that I wasn't on NG+ and was just short enough of having the best traits and couldn't deal enough damage with my good items

Escha&Logy is basically a Rorona remake, assignments are back, pie loving main character that is pretty dumb with stoic swordman with a cute side, do nothing at all for 3 years until they decide to move their asses. Loved escha's alchemy system, hated that they had me doing alchemy constantly and nothing else, got really sick of the pacing since I really didn't have anything else to do besides alchemy once you explore the new zone in the assignment.

GOING BACK TO FF THO, what a fucking ride, first the PC port is atrocious, had to unlock the framerate to lock it back to 30FPS manually or it won't run well. And I love how stupid that game is, damn I pity people who paid full price for this FF13 expansion DLC that doesn't explain jack shit has a lot of holes and when it went serious mode at the end only made me burst in laughter. AGAIN. I REALLY LAUGHED AT FF13'S ENDING AS WELL. GOD DAMN IT TORIYAMA. STOP.

You only need one playthrough anyway, the differences between playthroughs are nonexistent. Yeah sure each protagonist has his little characterization but the only decent and semi-elaborated stories are Bianca's and Filmia's, so I went with Bianca.

Real talk, I love the artwork, setting and music but anything else is poorly done imo. I don't have much reason to explore, I don't know if I should be battling monsters or not because the leveling system encourages you to grind against harder monsters, the story is really loose and the battle system is really weird. Like sure it's annoying but I don't mind that it's up to chance that I level my stats and attacks, but the inconsistent damage rolls are really bullshit. I know that it's the way the game tells you not to ignore elementals and stuff, but with only 3 people it's not like you can spare somebody calling elementals just so you don't receive a buttload of damage and do like 200 points less of it.

So yeah, I'm speedrunning this one lol I mean it really seems like the perfect game to do it since you level up so fast when "underleveled" anyway, and I don't see any reason to explore maps to 100% since it does not reward you in any way. Sure you can sell maps for a higher price but you can farm money pretty easily anyway so

Thanks. Me neither.

I actually won it in a raffle when it was released, and since I know the guy who ran the blog I just kinda feel forced to beat it, and now that I can play it with RPCS3... well... here I am. Heck, my copy is still sealed and all. Nice artwork btw.

But damn it got boring real fast. At first I was like "ok this is dull but it isn't that bad", the protagonist is an insufferable prick, there is no lip sync at all, and the tea parties are absolutely atrocious. But well, the music is composed by my favorite composer, Yuzo Koshiro, and the voice acting was real good with some really famous seiyuus.

BUT THEN IT STARTED. PALETTE SWAPS. LOTS OF THEM. AINT THAT ENOUGH? WELL HOW ABOUT PUTTING SOME WEAK ASS ENEMIES THAT ARE REALLY HARD TO HIT. HOW ABOUT HAVING WAVES OF 8 ENEMIES LIKE THAT. Hey you can always flee, right? and lose your already non-existent money. It's not like it's a hard game anyway, you just build your bar and use magic and you won instantly. I love how they put it like "hey you have two heroines, one is good with rifles and the other one with close combat" LIES, YOU JUST NUKE EVERYTHING WITH MAGIC.

The sidequests are really boring as well, they have no voice acting and are just collect x number of thing and deliver it to me. It's a shame because I'm really a fan of the company who made it (imageepoch, although they went bankrupt, nO WONDER), and the game has potential? Like it has good artwork, excellent music, interesting story and an interesting visual style (ok yes it's anime but it's cool to mix it as if you were playing an anime show), but damn they didn't get anything else right.

It really is a miracle that it even happened! Now there's just the Game Gear version of Last Bible that needs a translation... oh, and those mobile ones; I don't know anything about them.

Also, a recent (not) update on the PSP Devil Summoner patch: Frequency is still working on it, but won't be releasing it soon at all. It's still a thing, though.

You know that DELTA is like a second game where they decided to just put the first game inside so that people who didn't play the first one didn't have to buy it, right? Although, well, I think it doesn't really matter if you can somehow have both games installed at the same time (damn you expensive memory cards ), as I think you can transfer your save file, so that should speed up your playthrough of DELTA anyway.
