Also, I saw your psnp profile and I think you have the most games in common with me I've ever seen. You've played a lot of games which helps obviously, but it's still interesting. I'll definitely check out what you've played and maybe find some games to keep my eyes open for.

Yeah! I found the lack of a Ravus theme really weird too, I think he was one of the stronger parts of the FFXV story and always made a strong impression on me when he showed up. I will say listening to XV songs did remind me of this amazing trailer again. Warning as it does have Versus XIII vibes [Link] (Top comment always gets me)

We were spoiled with 30+ FFXIV songs very true! One fun thing was I was talking with Cyastix oh here about our most wanted XIV songs before the game came out and we ended up with “The Worms Tale” and “Wayward Daughter” so when they showed up back to back that was a great moment to share.
Really wanted Lakeland too as it’s my fav FF song [Link] but it didn’t make the cut

Zanarkand being DLC is such a cheep move… I haven’t played FFX but I know how much that song means to people and fans of the series. I get weirdly nostalgic for Sunleth Waterscape when I hear it and Price of Freedom hit way way harder this time around after beating Crisis Core Reunion earlier this year!
At least we know that it’s impossible to pick a bad NieR song so that DLC pick is going to be incredible!

Also took me a bit to noticed but huge respect for buying AND completing games in your huge collection
I posted some screenshots of my GB collection I sorted out at the weekend and had some random PMs about why some games & the GB Camera wasn’t sealed up and preserved my reply was always “How do I play it if it’s sealed up?!” some people

“a lot of the newer titles' song choices are really underwhelming” feel like I know exactly what you mean with this comment, haven’t played through all the series yet but I feel like the more modern games focus heavily on battle/boss music or arrangements of a similar sounding song (FFXIII looking at you) but the earlier games have a perfect mix of town, field, battle, boss and other thrown into the mix?

I will say that FFXIV only having 5/32 field music songs was a shame…. But then I got to “The Worm’s Tail” beyond and gave in I remember just thinking ugh fiiiine you win! lol

Soooo jealous you got Final Bar Line so early! want to play the rest of those FFXIV songs so badly...

Quick one, are you going to buy the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe Edition upgrade or just stick with the regular edition for now?
I’m so tempted to just get everything in one as this seems like the definitive version (for now) but don't know if I should just get the Octopath, NieR & The World Ends With You packs at the start and wait for a possible price drop on the rest
