Sleeping Dogs is amazingly well designed, you can 100% it without ever needing to look up an online guide. It's wonderful. You'll earn, ingame, ways to find the other collectibles too. It's the way every game should be.

Pro-tip: They don't just show up on the minimap, if you open your main map and hit the button marked "collectibles" it shows you all the pickups you found so far in white. It also shows faded grey icons to show the ones you haven't got yet. There are 2 statutes you won't be able to get until a mission gives you access to that area, so don't sweat the ones in the houses, those are for later.

I played a milk and cookies approach to the game. I would do a mission, then pad it out with a drug bust, a car theft, 3 or 4 collectibles and a favour, a street race and then back to the missions. Worked great in both my 100% completion runs.

Oh, and the only things in the game that are hard to get are Triad XP, so wear an outfit that gives you a nice bonus to this on EVERY mission. You don't want to grind out the final rank in post-game mission replays if you can avoid it. The other thing is the achievement/gold stat award for a million dollars of gambling wins. That can only be done by save scumming, save it for when you've got the Kennedy safehouse and I'll fill you in then.

I've out 75 hours into that game, and I still want to play it more. Glad you are having fun with it. Game owns.

You have a ton of PC games to complete, eh? Im trying not to start any more as I still have NeverWinter Nights 1 to beat and have not touched it in about 6 months. On act 2. Agh.

Not sure if multiplayer works, but Id like to play some COOP Sacred Gold. Also, if you wanna play Nation Red COOP, let me know.

The dialogue and characters are definitely the highlight of the game for me, but it's also a really good point and click adventure. There's really only one frustrating puzzle in the game (at the beginning, it involves a rubber duck, just look that one up online if it gets too annoying) but after that it's all pretty straightforward.

I envy you for being able to play The Longest Journey for the first time. Do yourself a favor and take your time with it, it's very linear but it's worth finding all the optional dialogue and small touches that really enhance the game.
