EarthBound
SNES Classic Edition! So glad I'm playing this with save states!

Updated about 2 weeks ago

☆★★★★ I've started Earthbound a couple times over the years but never really played it. I found the visual style off putting when I was younger. Also, coming from a history with Final Fantasy I found the battle screen really boring which is something remedied by playing Dragon Quest games.

Pokemon Conquest was all right. It's on the easy side for an SRPG, but with some of Pokemon's regular depth. The setting is kind of wacky but is handled in such a way that it works well. It's not a must play, but not a bad game, either.

Wow, thanks for those details; it does sound good. And yes, I'll probably spend a whole lot on PSN

How is the first Grandia? I've only played II and want to get the original on PSN once it makes sense to do so.

According to my Backloggery Memory Card, the last time I played CT was in 2010. This was the DS port which had an excellent new localization (though the original one is good, too!), but the new in-game content is skippable. Still a great game

It's been over a decade since I played Grandia II, but it's one of those games I definitely want to revisit sometime. I remember loving the battle system and some of the characters, particularly Skye. Have fun!
