Saying the spells is awesome, the level design is NOT. Quest for knowledge is, though.
Some puzzles are built around the fact that the pc can't crouch.
I like how Obi Wan Kenobi works as a telekinesis spell.

Don't really like where the series is going. Some nice drama, but hardly any awesome characters, apart from the first ghost. Please, stop with the self references already, or a goat will headbutt you. Also, the portraits just make you go 'whyyy?'. Also features a girl who would date you only if you're so near her, that you're actually from her small hometown.

It feels as necessary as Silent Hill 3 as a follow-up to the first, and plays, well, usually for the series, I guess. A bunch of cool characters (Frank <3, and also Joe Gould and Joseph Mitchell), some niceish backgrounds, and a really cozy version of NYC. Using the walkthrough like it's nothing and not regretting it at all.

Fairly enjoyable, yet by the end I felt sick of going back and forth between the same set of locations hoping to achieve something. I had to look up one solution in a walkthrough, and it turned out to be the most pleasant puzzle in the game (at the same time it was a bad puzzle, so no regrets). Pretty nice storyline at least.

Quite a good piece of mindless fun with a left-hand driving (wonder if it caused accidents in real life after driving people played this) about an undercover cop who infiltrates a triad wearing a Portal t-shirt and who isn't forced to do anything vile at all.
I lol'd when at the start of a street race the participants ran over the flag girl.
The mission about disconcerting the feng shui-loving guy where you break into his house and give it a number four-themed thrash was pretty stupidly

Absolutely loved it, although gameplay could be a little more inventive at times. Still, it's easy enough so you'd be able to properly enjoy the good elements and don't pay attention to the rest (see how I masterfully avoided saying whether there are some bad elements or not!)
Don't remember laughing so much in a game since Syberia. Don't remember a story so neatly constructed and tied up since Antichamber. An absolute joy.

It was a surprisingly sweet puzzlebook. It's very nicely written and in many ways pleasant, although not really remarkable. Actually, apart from a couple of overly repeating puzzles (especially the BS4 puzzle) and a cliffhangery ending, there's nothing wrong with it.
It's quite amazing and considerably more nice that Telltale turned out not to be another ea I thought it was.

A mediocre game, although it does what it tries to do quite well. It has the most convincing zombie apocalypse I've ever seen. Its story is very simple, but not badly executed. Its handheld game machines fit into the atmosphere really nice.
It's funny how they thought that somebody would for real read the Randolph's diary, though :D

It's an amazingly meditative and really fun thingie. What also amazing is how much the sound effects add to it.
It's a bit underwhelming in the last level, but it was a pure coziness throught. Also, really love the end credits. And the star collecting, that was fun!
