Somewhat better and worse than the first game. Obviously it's way shorter and that's a good thing. The world is mostly less confusing and there's less backtracking. There's an obvious reason you're getting the treasure this time. (for the demon) The wizard isn't as annoying as the thief was in the first game. The puzzles are still obtuse as hell. You're more likely to be able to make it through without a guide...but probably won't. I'm still having fun though.
