$5.99 on GOG. Game runs great at max settings. Keep it at 1024 x 768 resolution. Perfect! Just make sure GL Extensions are turned OFF in settings or game freezes (this goes for any game I have that has a GL option). My Intel HD 3000 graphics card on this old computer doesn't play well with GL these days.

Runs beautifully with the Direct3D 9 renderer, all thanks to the 469 community patch that allows the game to work on my PC just like it did back in 2000. Remember: Brightness level 6 (F11 button) is the preferred look, not level 7!

Thank you! Yeah, automapping is a godsend, but it's not enough lol. I still need to know where to go or WTF I'm doing haha. That link is pretty great, could see myself using it more in the future for other RPG and adventure games. Gone are the days of 1 game a year and so is "figure it out!" on your own. I give it the old college effort before I give in.
