Hmm yea it is really a lot like Diablo II. I have already started playing it and I think I am almost as far as you are (got a L18 Lore-alchemist). I do think, though, that Torchlight misses a lot of atmosphere the Diablo games had. It is also annoying that items stack on the ground, so that you often have to pick up the useless white items to see whats underneath.
