Oh it’s great you should try it. Just look up 3062 Advanced - it advances the timeline to the clan invasion era and introduces dozens of new mechs, battle armour and vehicles like tanks. It also expands the map to cover the entire Battletech universe

I hope your situation improves on all fronts. I understand why you would want to avoid physical games right now. If I had my head on straight, I would probably hit the pause button as well. Unfortunately I can't stop taking advantage of the deals. In fact, I just got another batch from Wal-Mart and even a game from Game Stop. Sigh....Even after I fix up the basement, I wonder if I will have enough room.....

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't interested in that game at all. As I've previously mentioned to you, your ability to play so many different games is something I'm quite envious of, so I spend a lot of time looking at your achievements. As I'm scrolling through great game after great game, something oddly sticks out. Then to make it really peculiar, it was played to 100% completion. I couldn't believe it! Until I accessed my new favorite feature, time played. You did it all in something like under 2 hours. Once I saw that, I instantly knew it was for the achievements. (Though I was completely unaware of there being a promotion for money, so that was a cool little nugget of info there.) I also knew that there was no way that you would be paying for that easy of a game so it absolutely was on Game Pass at some point. I was having some fun My Friend...Pepper Pig.

I would actually care to know what you can tell me about one game though. You know that I'm trying to fight the dreaded Xbox 360aclypse right now, and one game that I've always wanted to get was Phantasy Star Universe. It was one of the first games that I can remember looking up online to see if there was a monthly subscription fee, and there was. That kept me from getting it back then. Now, I just want to solo the damn thing if I can, and if it's free. It's still available digitally, so I'm assuming it's still functional. Can you oh Master of the Phantasy Star Universe spread your vast wealth of knowledge upon this undeserving once non-believer?

When I get a chance, I would like to give Blazing Dragons a play through. I actually have it on 2 different systems (PS1 and Saturn). I wonder which version is better.... As for L.A. Noire, I must say that curiosity was a factor in the purchase. You are actually the first person to say anything about it to me. Does the difficulty have anything to do with the fun factor being off or is it more the story itself?

Imagine a world where you've never played it and have literally no idea what exactly it is. You belive it to be some sort of shooter, perhaps a twin stick, and now you've been shown screen shots. The utter insanity of what I'm looking at is beyond my comprehension, but I bought all of the DLC too. Should be a helluva ride someday!

I have more games to add, but I honestly don't have time to continue adding them anymore today while I waste precious gaming time. Stay tuned! Or, you know, don't or whatever.

I had never actually even heard of that game until I got my first Xbox 360 and saw that everyone on my friends list had it. I remember wondering what it was and how it was so popular that I had to look it up. After finding out that it was a board game, I never really had any interest in getting it still. Insert Xpacolypse 360! Getting literally everything (Maybe. I'm having a hard time with other board/cards/gameshow games that I have no interest in playing. I think once you start getting stuff like "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" is where I'm drawing a line...maybe).

Which expansion are you on? If you're on a limited time, I assume you're likely way past the part where I'm at. (currently doing post-ARR stuff on the way to Heavensward.) The free trial normally allows you to play all the way until the end of the second expansion, and soon to be the third... Unless Xbox doesn't have that yet. That would suck.

Even crafting has stories? Man, this game is insane. I only did the early crafting stuff, and focused on the MSQ after that. It's honestly been quite rough, about 100 hours in. Just completely boring at times. I know people keep telling me it gets amazing by Heavensward, but damn is it a slog getting to that point. That last quest of ARR was really good for the most part, (minus some bullshit) but then it's right back to filler after that lol.

Yeah I tend to not replay stuff, but was excited for the DLC for Cyberpunk and I didn't want to jump back in after about a year or so of not playing. Wound up making a very similar character though after comparing saves, oof. I do really love Cyberpunk, and I played a bit more today and STILL just kept aiming for more gigs and side quests haha. No self control.

In regard to trophies vs achievements, I could go either way.

When it comes to battery-powered controllers, however, I definitely have a preference. I always choose a controller with a cord. To me, battery-powered controllers are a step backwards. It brings back memories of Pong consoles....when plugs weren't standard. Even some of them had the option of purchasing a "battery eliminator" though. Sure, you could still use a cord for battery-powered controllers today but the connection feels....weak. What were they thinking when they came up with the idea of battery-powered controllers anyway? What's next? Are we going to go back to battery-powered consoles? LOL

Thanks for the recommendations. My first pick of those you listed would most likely be Fallout 3: GOTY (though I may choose the 360 version since that console is more accessible). Fallout 4: GOTY is very addictive so I would expect nothing less from it's predecessor.

FF14 is great! I hope you're also enjoying it. It's been a bit of a running joke for the past decade or so that I'll never play it, but I'm glad I finally did. I'm getting close to finally having all of that Dragoon armor I've been wanting. As soon as I hit level 50. (currently 46, going on 47)

What do those Game Pass perks entail? I know it did just recently come out on Xbox. I wonder if there's any cool bonuses.

Yeah, really surprised with how well designed Stick of Truth is and how it kind of sucked me in after installing it on a whim. Had a look at Snow Day and yeah it's a different developer pedigree that doesn't really specialize in RPGs. While the game does seem functional, it also seems like a contract game taken to keep a dev studio afloat while working on separate passion project.
