It sure is nice to know that Brandish: The Dark Revenant got localized and translated. Would be awesome to play in English someday. I'm a fan of the series now, thanks to you!

I can see how a big backlog can be a pain in the ass. I myself gave up on uploading all the games I played... my backloggery is probably at least 600 games behind and between playing the games and adding them, I hardly find time to add games I previously played. I can only imagine what it could be like to have so many unfinished games.

I wonder how AiZA would play on the original system. I have a feeling I'll never know. Though getting a copy of the game (even though I don't own a system for it) is still a priority of mine.

I'll be brutally honest: this was my first time making a guide and working on a soundtrack. This was my first time making videos and uploading anything to YouTube...
While it was fun, it can be boring at times and it's something that doesn't go well with my lazy attitude. However, I would very much like to check Wander Wonder out, as it looks like a nice game (from YouTube videos). Though a guide/soundtrack would be only possible if I find a companion for the game like MP83. I wouldn't have bothered with AiZA alone and he was a great help. Both by providing translations, figuring out stuff and motivating me to do this thing.

Ys I & II on PC in English? Whoa, thanks! Wouldn't have caught this on my own: the over-saturation of shooters on the Steam store makes me physically ill when I try to visit it nowadays. And just in time for Valentine's Day, too. I can't think of a better blue-haired beauty to spend it with.

Isn't that right, Dogi?

Oh yeah, I'm really enjoying Ni No Kuni at the moment. Loads to do and see and explore and I can't wait to see what comes next in the story/gameplay...

*falls to his knees in praise* I was unaware of this, so THANK YOU so very much for showing it to me. I will definitely be throwing down some cash as soon as I finish writing this. After all these years, a continuation, and possible conclusion, to 2 of my all time favourite games! THANK YOU!

Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
You're one of the only people here I know that has played The Granstream Saga!

I started playing it like three days ago, but I also kept remembering how the game ends pretty suddenly (which ruined the game for some people), so I just quickly tracked my progress in a walkthrough and found that I had quite a bit of the game left. Cool.

So I've been playing for about an hour now, and...wow, that was sudden, I'm about to fight the final boss! Looking at all my stats and items, it feels like I should still be half-way through the game. Things just feel missing even though I have pretty much everything...

Still, great game. It's just about to end, though!

Thanks Tom, yeah, I kept looking at your profile in deep frustration and trying to understand how you had done it. Well, putting the comment in Progress Note does the trick, but the character count is much more limited so you have to say less... I figured it out after a couple of hours, but thanks for getting back to me...

Wow, I actually remember playing the original Mysterious Song as one of several random games I'd download back when the internet was still a brand new world of adventure for me.
And it's been given a Turbo-CD reboot? Sounds like something I may have to look into later

Well, maybe I should buy it forthe Wii, if the greelight version isn´t popular enough. It sure looks lovely and you saying it has lots of secrets makes me curious.

How is "La Mulana"? There is plans to release it on Steam as well, if it gets greenlit. Do you know if there are any significant changes between the planned PC and your Wii version?

Confused: Playing 10+ games at once
i own an 88MA, so there's not much crossover between our hardware. no idea how a 98 will do running 88 stuff, but if the crew at tokugawa is telling you it will work then i see no need to worry. the only thing i'd say is that some of the really old 88 games, like hover attack, prefer 4mhz instead of 8 and often will not run at all unless you're in one of the v1 modes, basically compatibility for the earliest versions of the hardware. i might have some 88 stuff to sell, but nothing very exciting. :B

anyway, my question was about a game i've been researching lately, zeta 2000. [Link] the main character is a redheaded swordsman, so i immediately thought of ys; however, it looks like z2000 came out at least a year before the first release of ys. do you think this is just a coincidence, or is there maybe some earlier anime or manga that both characters were influenced by?
