Confused: Playing 10+ games at once
Well my gambit for holding onto boxes didnt get me more $ for my predetermined dupes and $.
BUT
I did get like 4 legendaries in 20 boxes. Even if 2 were money/dupes

Also, I think they actually fixed it, I'm getting almost all new content now.

FISTO is neat

I've heard that about 4, and that might be my entry point, if anything, especially because it doesn't seem like it focuses so much on zombies. I am so fucking sick of goddamn zombies; they're low-level bullshit throwaway monsters for the beginning of your horror-themed game, until you get to more interesting shit, like demons and liches and the like. I'm going to try to get into Silent Hill again, though.

I'm pretty jaded on big budget games right now; I might get in the mood to pick up something more like that sometime in the future, though. I suppose it's a good thing, too, since I have a lot of Point-and-Click Adventures left to play. I'm trying to pace myself and mix up the genres, so I don't get burned out and maybe gloss over something I'd otherwise enjoy. I'm really enjoying Anachronox for the most part, so I think another RPG wouldn't be entirely out of line; Fallout is probably going to be that RPG, because I'm developing a bit of a Horror itch, and that's the best RPG I have to scratch it right now. It'll be a nice transition from Cyberpunk to Horror, at least. I do have the same problem, though: after I get home, it's hard jumping into a long JRPG just to get started, so my progress has been pretty damn slow, even though I enjoy it. The fact that it's 2017 and you can binge-watch old cartoons on sketchy streaming sites is absolutely NO help, either. I used to want a PS4, but this new PC can play every single game that I'd wanted for it, so there's no reason for me to get one anymore. I have a nice gamepad that's very similar to a Playstation controller, and mouselook is a fucking thing, so I'm more than satisfied.

I remember a time when splurging on a game to treat myself meant dropping $5 on VVVVVV. Now that I'm out of that soul-sucking hellhole, I'm making a living wage, so I can spend a little more, though I generally limit myself to around $30 per sale, if I even partake at all. Haven't spent a dime on Steam yet, though that's largely because I like actually owning my games, so I buy what I can through GOG. Oh, and will you look at that: they JUST added Cosmic Star Heroine and it's 1/3 off. I can't think of much else that I spend money on, unless you count food, like baking ingredients and the like. Oh, that reminds me: I should put some chicken in the fridge for dinner tomorrow; I think Chicken Piccata sounds like a winner with maybe some egg noodles, and probably some rusted lace cookies for dessert.

I have a basic ps4 so this based on what IOO've read.
The Pro will uprez or super-sample higher-quality images then the ps4 will for games that support Pro even if you don't have a 4K display. And some games that run at 1080-30 on PS4 will run at 1080-60 on the Pro.

That said, for the additional cost ($100+ depending on your current ps4 situation) it doesn't seem remotely worth it unless you have a 4k display. Even then, the Pro is a joke compared to the Xbox 4K that actually plays 4K blurays.

I don't have a PS4 Pro, but I don't see any reason to get one. Then again, I already have a PS4, and I think it looks pretty damn good (though I don't care much about graphics unless I can't understand what I'm looking at).

Okay backboggery: PS4 Slim 500GB with Uncharted 4, or PS4 Pro, for someone who doesn't have a 4K display (and doesn't care about 4K)? Does the Pro have enough value to it to justify it, or is it more bells and whistles but not much actual performance increase at 1080p?

Don't worry about it; life sucks here, too. You take care of yourself first, always.

I do have the first Amnesia, so that's definitely on the list. I don't really consider BioShock to be Horror, either, but thank you for reminding me that I want to play that, now that I don't suck at first-person games so much anymore. I'm going to consider Resident Evil 4, but I played 2 and absolutely despised it, so I'll be passing on the rest; I've heard that 4 shakes things up in a good way. Thanks for the recommendations! I don't worry about low-budget; Sweet Home is an 8-bit game and does an excellent job with horror, so you don't need a big budget to make good horror. There are also a lot of big budget games that are absolute garbage.

Yeah, that was neat; it's 100 or so years into the future, but it's not like a Halloween episode of the fucking Jetsons; they did a good job with the tech, and the WAU is a totally believable thing. I mean, is anyone really going to say that humanity wouldn't create a black, evil, sentient lifeform that's basically made out of Japanese monster porn and say, "You know, I think it's okay to trust the entirety of the technology that we need to survive to this horrifying thing." If there's one thing that all futuristic works of supernatural horror have in common, it's the arrogance of humanity, even Metroid. Really?
Given the fact that you're in the floating ball of cyber garbage at the end, my interpretation is that there was no coin toss; both of you are sentient and self-aware. I'd drawn that conclusion way back when you entered the deep diving suit, and only euthanized my old self, because it was less cruel than leaving it to stress out about being torn to shit by monsters for the rest of its probably short life.

No worries there; I'm the damn budget Nazi around here, and I always look at the total before I make the purchase. The biggest one I've made thus far was just under $200 on GOG, and that was because I told people to just give me money for Christmas, so I could build a new computer and get some games; they don't exactly sell those in stores anymore, because the shit's all digital now, which I think is a good fit for PC; maybe not so much for consoles. Other than that, the biggest ones have been around $30. I actually haven't even spent a dime on Steam yet. I'm starting to prefer PC, too, because then, my lady can still watch Netflix on our TV.
