I don't think your thought process is likely far off lol. The Wizardry series as a whole (any of the individual games) is something that's almost akin to a rite of passage amongst dungeon crawler fans. If you can make it through, you likely CAN endure anything else the genre has to offer!

That's about what I figured. The feel of them from what I've read & vids I watched really gave that impression for sure. I've considered sourcing some of the original PC (X68000 & Towns) releases of the first four titles to play someday. The raunchiness doesn't bother me, it's just rare to find someone with actual firsthand experience to get an opinion from. I appreciate the reply!
