My 3DS has been dropped and knocked off things plenty of times, but always seems to come out fine. I actually got the shell to protect the design since it's a Fire Emblem limited version (and I wasn't sure I was going to like the 3DS, so might resell it), but it's paid for itself numerous times by preventing damage to the console itself.

Ecco is difficult, certainly. I'm on the final level, and it's taking forever.

EDIT: I checked. The Internet tells me that it's five and a half minutes long (it's a scrolling level), and by finding my maximum point on YouTube I've learned that I've managed about four and a half minutes of that.

First thing I did when I got my 3DS was to apply screen protectors and put it in a transparent protective shell.

Well, you can beat it a lot quicker than that, I was just collecting everything and I didn't play much the first day. I've noticed others have marked the game after collecting everything, but I'm saving that until I finish my Hero Mode run.

Anyway, it's good. Really, really good. People always go on about A Link to the Past being all that, but I've never seen it. I guess I liked it when I first played it, but when I replayed it recently, I just hated it; like, the world is good, but I hated every single dungeon in ALttP. A Link Between Worlds takes what was good about ALttP and does it so much better.

Also, didn't you already have a 3DS? I've never really understood buying another version, and I'm happy with my Fire Emblem XL anyway.
