Really glad to hear you're enjoying it so much! Personally, I really, really love the game. I think the atmosphere, gameplay, level design, and the soundtrack all came together to make something very special. Always happy to see someone playing one of my own favorites!

I've still never played any of the 3D Castlevanias, but I've played a bunch of the original stage-based 2D games. Super Castlevania IV and Rondo of Blood are my personal favorites, but I give IV the edge because of its very fluid gameplay and the fact that its lower difficulty makes it better for casually replaying every now and then.

I didn't play it fully until 2008 when I got my cartridge. And since then I've only played it a handful of times, just like Chrono Trigger and SMRPG. I'm currently playing Bloodlines on Genesis for that game's 30th anniversary this year~ 💖

Yeah. Sometimes it's hard to ensure your collection of lists is fully organized when you gotta keep track of what you own and what systems you own.

I recently organized my PS4 titles with the following folders: "PlayStation 4 (Digital)", "PlayStation 4 (Disc)", "PlayStation Network", "PlayStation VR", and "PS Digital Collection". Separated my digital titles from the titles that need the game disc with VR games having their own folder, PSN-listed game titles are their own entry, and the PS Digital Collection is for bonus stuff like art books and soundtracks.

Jeez, why is it so hard to fine ONE way to organize my consoles list that I find satisfying?

Lucky you. I'm doing my best to save money to own a PS5 (even if it is used/refurbished) since the sequel for Final Fantasy VII Remake is only on PS5. That, and thus far Honkai: Star Rail is is PS5 exclusive.
