Hi, I'm an old gamer and been playing since the days of Atari 2600. But only since the Playstation era that I became a RPG addict. Sorry for my english, it's not my prime language and sometimes I can't choose the right words to express myself properly.
The reason I didn't add Atari 2600 and MSX 1.0 games to my list, is that they don't have endings, they just repeat themselves eternally. And to be fair, it was so long ago that I don't remember most of them anymore.
Even though I tend to play almost every genre of game(except soccer, I hate it), I do have my prefered genres.
My favorite game genres/sub-genres are those, in order:
1) Collectible Card Games;
2) Classic-style turn-based RPGs;
3) Turn-based Strategy RPGs;
4) Very crazy-style racing games(Burnout, Mario Kart, etc.),
5) Non-RPG strategy games;
6) Spacecraft Shoot 'em ups.
As you can see, I'm not a big fan of Action-RPGs, but I still play them occasionally.

I'm on a quest, to finish every single english-released PS2 RPG. I've been doing this since 2005, and I should be at something like 60% done.
If you want to see MyAnimeList, it's here:

I try to update it daily.
Términos RPG 2018: (4)
21/01 - Atelier Rorona (PS3)
20/03 - The Nightmare of Druaga: Mystery Dungeon (PS2)
14/07 - Summon Night: Swordcraft Story (GBA)
09/09 - Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth (PSVita)
Hope you are well.
I didn't mind Trails in the Sky, but I am not going to go out and get any of the other games.
It wasn't fast paced and I have soo many other games to play.
