The Companion system kind of wore out its welcome by the end, especially since plot progression was halted by basically having to backtrack through every town and dungeon to see if new potential companions popped up. By the end, when running into the guy who said, "I'll join once you get all of the Cooks to Level 75," when I hadn't used any, I was like, "Nope. I'm done." and focused on completing the final couple of dungeons for the True End as I'd already gotten all of the other trophies minus that and finishing up the last set of Subquests that opened right before the final dungeon.

I was also slightly disappointed in there not being a real reward for exploring. Dragon Sinker had plenty of optional dungeons and goodies hidden around the world map. That is one reason I say it had better mechanics.

For the plot, it did feel very vanilla up until the twists with the reveal of the robed figure while DS stayed vanilla all throughout. Can definitely say AC's True End path is where it shined most.

Overall I liked Dragon Sinker more than Alvastia Chronicles as it had better mechanics and was more fun overall, but Alvastia had a better story.

Most likely. There are a total of 10: 1 for each town/settlement, including Luna's house.

Unlocking a character's ending requires at least 181 Trust, and the priority in case of a tie is Stella > Felix > Uriel > Nadia with Celine's unlocking if you find all 7/10 plushes and have no more than 180 trust for each of the other 4.

It was worth getting each of the True Endings on Asdivine Hearts II. Celine's was definitely the best overall but Nadia's was also really sweet while Uriel's had a hilarious bait and switch. The Happy/Harem Ending was much the same as the one in Asdivine Cross.

Yeah. I'll do a demo play of Alvastia then get back to Asdivine Hearts II after I'm done with streaming FFV this weekend or so.

Thanks for your words of congratulations on Phantasy Star! The Sega Ages version on Switch really helped me get into the game, as always found the first person dungeon crawler part of the game intimidating without a digital live map.

I see you are quite a big fan of the Phantasy Star series, and even playing through the second instalment.

Better late than never, at least. I'm going to try to finish the Platinum for NieR before trying it and YIIK out though.

Just got my USB adapter for my Switch which makes my Wii U Pro controller work perfectly on my Nintendo Switch. For 32$CAN, I have a second top notch wireless pro controller for Smash, which is only missing the Gyro and NFC reader. Highly recommended!

How's the Fitness Boxing working out for you? I'm very curious about it myself, even thought about getting it.

Prolly a dumb question but do you recommend the Sega Ages version of Phantasy Star to someone who has played through the original series?

I love it! I've always wanted to go through the first Phantasy Star, but its age always made it a little daunting for me. The perks from the Sega Ages version help, though! Kind of like a "modernization mode". Though truthfully, one day I would still like to try the game as it originally was, too.

Crypt of the NecroDancer... That flipping game!!!

I used to play that quite a lot at some points. I was mainly into the "All-Zones" mode where you have to play every zone in one go without death. And let me tell you, it's pretty devastating when you die or even screw up on the smallest bit. I remember dying at the final boss at that mode...

I can relate to how brutal you think this game is. It's one of the most challenging games I have in my Steam library (Of course I know it has a downloadable Switch port). But good luck trying to beat this one.

Thank you very much! I know you've been trying to get all the Pokemon. I bought Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon last year, but have barely played it, instead focusing on Switch and PS4 games (so much so that I rebooted my Twitter to focus exclusively on them)

I, fortunately, was able to catch every Pokemon though, and can't wait for Gen 8 Pokemon to transfer them all (though I will still need Meltan). One of the reasons I haven't gotten Let's Go was because I wasn't able to transfer my living dex to the new game.

As for Smash, while I'm glad I've completed it, there are still things left to do, like complete the classic mode and century smash runs with every character since you get a medal for each one you complete. Not to mention the DLC which will mean more spirits and more characters. As it is now, you get nothing for completing all challenges or getting the base 1297 Spirits.

Personally, I'll be taking a break til the DLC, either for Piranha Plant or Joker, and will instead be focusing on PS4 games until Tales of Vesperia releases, and then Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2.

I wasn't even aware 1.3 came out on switch, also good luck finding stuff like milk or other animal products for some recipes cause you're probably gonna have to buy a new cow to get it. I thought cooking was pretty easy it was a lot easier than finding every fish and artifact, but equally as easy as getting every mineral. speaking of which i'm probably gonna make a mineral museum shed if I can find out what item you use to display stuff.

Excited for Joker in Smash or Mortal Kombat 11 coming to Switch? As a major lover of all things Megami Tensei and someone who completed Persona 5, I love that they added him, especially since I wasn't expecting another Sega rep. Mortal Kombat 11 was a surprise too given how intense it looks and how soon it will release.

Maybe i'm just impatient when it comes to grinding but it took almost an entire year to get to 1 million and thats kinda too long for me I'm currently attempting to make a huge crystallarium farm at the quarry but its going slow as I have to farm for 25 gold ores each time I want to make one, and since I chose hilltop I dont have a lot of room for the Pigs.
Also by the way I dont envision Lets go being compatible with Pokemon Bank, I feel like it's only gonna become compatible with future Lets Go titles if they make more which they have hinted at.

After all this Pokemon Let's Go game time, I wanted to play more Pokemon! So I bought Ultra Sun and Moon and decided to continue a little my Living Dex in my PokeBank (currently: 801/807). Already got a code for Zeraora, too bad I know I will still be missing Diancie and Marshadow now .

I apologize for the late reply, you seem to have played a lot more games in the meantime. Hope you enjoyed them

And yes, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a great game and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too. Don't feel bad about not playing a game right away, the games won't go bad. I get the feeling of purchasing new games and wanting to talk with others about them as soon as possible, but personally I'd rather play and enjoy them at my own pace. Gaming is not a sprint imo, it's a marathon.

Hope you had a good time completing Let's Go.

So did you do any of the gyms in a weird order like I did or did you do all them all in the intended order? I had a friend who no joke skipped gyms 3-6 and did Blaine after Misty, I didn't even think the game was that non-linear. I should do a playthrough where I do the gyms in the weirdest order possible but I dont really want to delete my savefile since there's only one.

Excited for Smash Bros releasing soon? I read a bunch of pre-release content and I have some mixed feelings. Overall, I just hope the online is good because I will probably spend a lot of time doing that. And probably the challenges as well, which I hear there are a lot of.

Are there any characters you are real excited to play? My most wanted in Smash 4 was Richter, so to see him in Smash Ultimate is a dream come true. What are your hopes for DLC as well? My biggest hopes are Erdrick, Ryu Hayabusa and Terry Bogard as characters, but I doubt we would get all of them, I would just love to see classic Enix, Tecmo and SNK representation.

That 24 pig idea is smart. I take it you have 2 or 3 barns? If so I might keep one of each species of animal except for the sheep because they're outclassed by the bunnies. And do you still have a coop or did you get rid of it to make room for more pigs?
