About Me: Whether it was watching my Grandma play Super Mario Brothers into the wee hours of the night or enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog on my Genesis, video games has always been a part of my life one way or another. I remember spending hours upon hours of my teenage years in front of a television, controller in hand. I could beat games on a 5 day rental. I would game so much my fingers would twitch in my sleep.
After college, life has a way of getting in the way. Work, friends, loved ones. All so important. Video games get put on a shelf, collecting dust.
This backlog is my attempt to not lose sight of a hobby that has been so enjoyable and so important to me. I have met a lot of nice people who have shared my love of games, and have made many good memories playing comfilly at home by myself or with my friends and relatives. Video games doesn't have to go away as you get older. You just have to make the time!
Games, Completed Details, etc:
NES and SNES: My NES and SNES collection is NULL because I have them more as a collection than a completion goal. If I beat them - neat! If not, its ok. I will add games as I clean the carts I own, or purchase more. The Ultimate goal is to replicate the collection my Grandma once had!
Will be when I did literally EVERYTHING possible in the game, got all them trophies, completed the time trials, went to NG+ like a beast. I'm not big on Platinum, so it may be unlikely.
are Games where I have done all sidequests, collect-a-thons, etc in a game and have exhausted everything I was willing to do. I'm not a fan of some gameplay features, so if I skip them its still a complete for me!
will be if I know I can do more but don't feel like going for the gold. Maybe I will do it someday, but depending on the game most likely not! My Silvers usually come with a good reason.
Lastly, if you want to be friends, don't hesitate to friend me or leave a comment!
