Thank god, the amount of AC screenshots I've been getting on Swapnote has died down since Pokémon came out. Finally.

Getting married in RF4 is a PAIN! Not only do the girls reject you quite a bit, once they do fall in love with you it is completely random if they marry you or not. You could end up going through 15 other RANDOM side events before you are even given the option....

Actually that's why I have my AC game to be set quite a few hours back. I'm gone from 6 AM till 6 PM everyday (besides weekends), so when I get home the game is normally set to night. With putting the clock back, that no longer becomes an issue. Also, yeah Animal Crossing City Folk wasn't that great at all. It didn't improve on very much, and I ended up quitting after a week or two. NL actually does improve on everything though; it isn't the same Animal Crossing that we had back during the GCN days. This time around you can fully customize your town/build new additions to it, there's a lot more customization that goes into the houses (such as being able to use your own textures on furniture or the ability to hang things on the wall), the online aspect was greatly improved, and they even added the ability to swim. Really, it is a lot different lol. Although I'm not playing it that much now days...

As for Rune Factory, yeah I love to see how they improve on it with each game as well. I mean some aspects remain the same, but it seems like they always add in new content, and then keep that new content for the next game. Although I do miss the Tides of Destiny styled heart events (which most HM games also had) in Rune Factory 4... It would have been nice if they kept in the ability to jump as well....

lol I haven't checked swap note in such a long time. Really though, what makes AC fun is the fact that its a social game. What really ticks me off though, I built this crazy town with everything just how I want it. Put in paths, had everything laid out as I needed it to be (in real life I'm a CAD Drafter, and I've always loved games like the sims), but the thing is.... Freakin Nintendo didn't set villager zones. Basically any villager can move in whenever/move out whenever, and they can move in on TOP of ANYTHING you placed. Its a really stupid system, and a flaw in the game design.

Anyway, really RF and AC are in the same genre, or rather, a part of RF is. It is still in fact a life sim, but it has JRPG elements in it as well lol. I really can't say which one I like better, but there is more to do in RF. I just wish that they would add in some online multiplayer in the future. It would be nice to be able to customize the town more, and then invite your friends over. It would be nice to go dungeon crawling also....

Dang lol! More people really need to try it out. There's hundreds of thousands of Animal Crossing New Leaf fans on the 3DS; so you would think that Rune Factory 4 would really pick up in sales as well.

I am happy I didn't get brainwashed into buying Animal Crossing: New Leaf. People in my 3DS friend list keeps sending me tons of screenshots through Swapnote >_>

I'm certainly interested, the trial seems quite expansive though, so I'm content exploring that until I hit the end of it. I'll buy it at some point, but I'm poor atm so other games (Rayman Legends) have priority...

Lol, can't risk the Animal Crossing addiction. I tried the DS version for a few minutes once and didn't really understand what the craze was all about.
