I actually pretty much agree with you. Many of the bosses in Elden Ring are awful and the open world is frequently tedious. I do think I got a lot out of my first playthrough (especially the first half), but the subsequent time I've spent with it has been less enjoyable. Also, Fire Giant may well be the worst boss in the entire game.
