Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
So, I did a 100% completion in GTA Vice City Stories.

First and foremost, it sucked. No, not the game itself is bad, nor the storyline. It's just that my experience in trying to get a 100% was an absolute nightmare. I completed many GTA games from the 3D-universe, and none of them was as bad as in VCS. I'm not going to go over what is required for the game to achieve a full completion, instead I will just get right on the specifics.

In the beginning, we have the classical side missions like Paramedic, Vigilante and Firefighter. In other GTA games, you needed to complete 12 levels for each. For some goddamn reason, they increased the level cap to 15. Listen, doing 12 levels was already difficult enough, and now we have to do 3 more levels?? Why?? Nobody ever liked these side-missions. They aren't fun and they are extremely repetitive. They added checkpoints per 5 level but even that wasn't enough to save the side-missions. This same problem ravaged the Air Rescue and the Beach Patrol side-mission.

Moving on from that, we have the time trials. They weren't necessarily bad. There were just too many of them. You had Dirtbike time trials, BMX time trials, ATV time trials, Water sport time trials and many other checkpoint collecting missions whose names I can't remember. These missions took a long ass time to complete. I spent a total of 4-5 hours on these.

Finally, my last point. Most of these side-missions didn't provide anything useful. People will only do them for the sake of doing it. Now you might be asking, "what about the money?" WELL SONNY, YOU GOT THE MONEY ALREADY. In the game, there is this business empire building thing are just passive incomes. You need to capture all of the empire buildings for the completion as well. You know how much money I gained per in-game day from those??? Nearly 100K. I'm not joking. That's how much you get. Money is basically valueless in this game with those empire business. This causes nearly all the side-missions to become valueless. If they provided a perk or an ability in exchange, the side-missions would have been more acceptable to me.

So yeah, it all comes down to repetition and blandness

Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
So, I played 2003 Hulk

Okay, first things first, I'm talking about the one that is developed by Radical Entertainment. I wasn't aware of it until writing this, but there is another Hulk game AND it was also made in 2003. The other game is completely different, and it's a GBA exclusive.

Radical Entertainment's Hulk was made for PC, PS2, Gamecube and Xbox. I only played the PC game since that's what originally introduced me to the game. Back when I was teenie little young child (2010-2012), I received this CD, and it was full of PC games. It had the motherfuckin' Vice City, NeoGeo, Road Rash and few other iconic games. Among those games, there existed the Hulk. I remember this game in particular for its sheer difficulty. This game was really difficult for me back then, especially the stealth missions. It was also somewhat scary to me as well. There was this boss called "Half-Life" (aka, "Tony Masterson" if anyone cares), AND HOLY FUCKING SHIT, his model fucking gave me NIGHTMARES. I will talk more about him in my review. That's really all I have to say regarding my experience with the game when I was younger.

Now, let's talk about the review.
After replaying the game, I kinda realized the game wasn't as special as I remember it out it to be. The game time is very short, even for a 2004 game. The gameplay can be classified into two parts, Beat-em-up, when you play as Hulk; and Stealth, when you play as normal Bruce Banner. Playing as Hulk is fun, but as not Bruce Banner. The stealth gameplay is just boring and overtly punishing. Guards can easily detect you. That wouldn't have been a problem if you could outrun or fistfight them in the first place. The bosses won't give you a hard time in this game, it's the guards in the stealth mode that will.

While progressing through the game, it daunted on me that the game was just recycling things. Remember Half Life? He is the first boss of the game. When you touch him, he absorbs your HP. You can't punch him or grab him. He also has a very distinct design as well. Now what about other bosses? Well, they are all literally copies of Hulk and have no distinct design or attack for that matter. Then you realize that most of the enemies you fight have no variety to them. You just do the same thing again and again and again, until you finally finish the game. It stops becoming fun. It becomes redundant.

Thats the problem with the game, the gameplay is redundant. And don't even bring up the "lore", there isn't any lol
