★★★★★ Not going to lie, the biggest problem with this game isn't that it's a crappy action game, or a crappy survival-horror game... no, it's the length. The game is way too freaking long. Doesn't help that the actual story doesn't cover much ground, and has a lot of holes, despite the overall length. Other than that, this isn't the terrible game people would have you believe. It isn't amazing, and is indeed pretty annoying at parts, but it's not garbage.

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
Cursed: 10+ new games in a row
Well, it's actually been a while since I finished Xenoblade Chronicles and I had marked it only as but after talking to a buddy about it I decided to mark it as since the ONLY thing I did not do was an alternate way for two sidequests (since I would have had to do a completely new playthrough in order to obtain them). So, since I had covered one option for the sidequests I figured I could count it as . After all, I definitely think I spent enough time on the game, right? (I think, on average, most people probably only spend around 100 - 150 hours on this game. I think I took more time than others because I explored like crazy, crafted everything, did all 400+ of those sidequests, kept returning to the towns to talk to the NPCs, and I leveled up well into the 100's to fight the optional bosses). So, don't let my gaming time scare you off. This game is so utterly worth the time invested!

You hopefully should be able to find a great price on Baten Kaitos - the last time I saw it in GameStop they were selling it for $4.99. I know they don't sell Cube games anymore, but I hope that's indicative of what it may sell around for online or in other shops (maybe). Infinite Space for the DS is one of those games that sells for a lot online, but I was able to get it at GameStop for $14.99. I was stoked!!

Glad to have a new multitap buddy - it's been great chatting with you!

I totally know what you mean about the backlog sucking (heh, you should see my backloggery footer comment. I am acquiring way more games than I am completing (RPGs only compound that problem!). I do hope you get back to Xenoblade - it truly is one of the very best games I have ever played. But, I can understand how that happened - there is so much story going on that when you haven't played for a while you have no idea what is going on because you've forgotten all the little plot details.

You certainly have fantastic taste in gaming as well. Have you ever heard of Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings of the Lost Ocean for the GameCube? I simply have to recommend it to you - that game is phenomenal and so is its sequel/prequel. If I had to pick a favorite game, that would probably be it. I hope it's okay I added you to my multitap - I have enjoyed chatting with you and perusing your game collection!
