The amount of times I've died to a venomous snake I failed to notice feels very accurate to evolutionary history. It's hard to call this "fun" as such but it is definitely very engrossing.

I did Golden Deer first and Blue Lions second! I do want to do a Black Eagles playthrough, and even started one, but the idea of going through the frustratingly similar first half of the game is such a turn off. I was enjoying the DLC, although I didn't care how much it streamlined the available party members, and then just wandered off the game entirely.

I also am an incredible nitpicker, and this game gave me plenty of ammo. For example: I was super excited to finally have weaponized demonic beasts on my side in my BE playthrough... only to find out that Edelgard only has them at her disposal when she's The Enemy, and Dimitri actually has them in BE, even though that makes _no sense_. Alas!
