Do you actually get to play any of these games when you update a dozen at a time, or do you have a large collection of unopened boxes?

That being said I recently found a GBA Fire Emblem cartridge and cannot for the life of me ever remember buying it. If I updated what I actually had rather than what I feel like stating I have (e.g. I have had a PSP for over a year but not mentioned it anywhere) then I may realise just how many games I buy that I never truly play.

I do get a chance to make steady progress on a few games after I get home from work, namely the ones in my now playing list, but my input is certainly much greater than my output. For the most part I guess I'm using my backloggery mostly as a collection index as I am a big collector, and especially of retro games. Also, I rarely buy games new and usually wait until they drop between the $10 - $20 price range, unless say for example something dear to my heart is released such as a series I like such as Ys, Panzer Dragoon or Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, or Metroid. And usually when it is a title from a developer I really want to see succeed, such as Falcom, I'll rush out and buy it on day one.

Most of the current entries for Xbox 360 and PS3 that were recently added are because I found good deals on them, and also because a few gaming stores in my area are closing down. $21 for Assassin's Creed I & II isn't too bad a deal, nor $15 for Darksiders, BlazBlue LE for $15. $50 for DJ Hero with the Turntable, when it usually goes for $80.

We don't have a PS3 yet either, but I can't pass up a deal on MGS 4 for $12, Folklore for $12 and Heavenly Sword for $12. I really want to get a PS3 soon though if just for Demon's Souls.

Good to hear from you again.
