Tales of the Abyss wasn't an exceptionally hard game to find actually. And yes, the overworld is a bit choppy and have long load times. Its not just you.

Have you played Metal Gear Solid 4? That game has LONG cutscenes. Actually MGS4 is the best movie I've ever played.
