No, I'm listening to the English version (it does offer the Japanese VA as well, but I generally play through at least the first time with English on). And Mao's English voice actor is just super-ridiculously hammy, to the point of being annoying.

I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the story too!

Haha, in reply to your comment, I have a bad habit of buying games and then not playing them for ages, especially since I tend to like rarer niche games (stuff like the Shin Megami Tensei games tend to have low print runs, so if you don't get them when you come out you end up paying $80 for them on eBay later on; really a lot of games from Atlus and Nippon Ichi are like this).

But yeah, I need to make more time to work through my games backlog. If only awesome new games weren't coming out all the time, argh...CAN'T KEEP UP ;_;

I've been reading your Disgaea 3 posts on LJ; it sounds awesome, I can't wait to play it!
