oh most definitely. It's a great game regardless if you're a fan of 2D metroid or 3D metroid. Maybe the story will bother you if you're one of those people who have built up an image in your head of what Samus should be like and act like, but all it really does is expand on her character that was laid out in Fusion. To me everyone complaining about it just simply never paid attention to the story of the games.
