Who even plays cellphone games get a load of this casual

I couldn't take it anymore. Nearly 60 hours in and still no overarching plot to speak of in a series that generally has some kind of objective. Like, there's literally no antagonism at all that far into the game. My SENSE OF ADVENTURE isn't that strong when I'm playing a linear goddamn game with 0 challenge -- which was also a problem. Mash A to win.

Nah, if I want a real adventure I'll always fall back on good ol' EO. :>

Not exactly pleased that the new dungeon is unique to the plot, but nothing from the original EO1 is cut out. All of the combat streamlining, OST update and so on is there so, it's enough. So... I miss a new dungeon, but I can live with it. Not making my own party in EO just feels wrong. This is my (party's) adventure, not some premade characters of classes that I didn't even get to pick. >> Especially important since I finally decided I wanted to do a run without a meatshield. Powering things down has gone pretty damn well for the first stratum at least...!

It's a game about islands made on an island.

I am hellbound and determined to finish this despite knowing I could do literally anything else. It's so mediocre. ;_;
