About me
I hail from Bucharest, Romania, where I've spent my teenage life, after being brought up in the small city of Adjud, Vrancea. As a teenager, I've been quite keen on informatics, and as such, I've been part of the Coding Olympics team at my high-school, Saint Sava National College.
Many awards and competitions later, at the age of 19, I decided to say farewell to my parents and embark onto a journey to the UK. At the moment, I'm an international student at Newcastle University, in North-Eastern England, currently living with my girlfriend, Monica.
I've been a fan of video-games for many years now and my games library spans many genres. I like to experiment with new types of games all the time, but am also respectful of mainstream games. I play all of my games on Medium nowadays, work and university life clogging up most of my time, and as such, I like to have a good flow when playing.
In my professional life, I develop web applications.
I'm also quite a happy fellow, due to having mostly everything I want - except for online play, damn you British University VPN connections!
I enjoy books, particulary anything in the lines of Nichita Stănescu, Michel Houellebecq or H.P.Lovecraft (Cthulhu Mythos FTW).
And that's me, really.

And finally, for Gears of War. I'm really happy you're enjoying the game. Especially since last friend I recommended it to, ended up selling it day after he bought it. >_<
But yeah, that's what I love about Gears. The atmosphere, the story, the characters, the weapons, and of course, the gameplay. Which is near perfected in Gears of War 2. I am so excited for Gears of War 3. And I'm finally happy to say, that in this past XP multiplier event for Gears of War 2's multiplayer, I FINALLY, after like a year since the multiplayer leveling system came out, reached level 100. Which takes a massive, 6.8 MILLION XP. Which may not sound like a lot for some games, but after you play a few games of MP in this game, and wrap your head around the way the leveling works in this game, you might get a liiiitttle bit discouraged. Haha. Felt great finally getting it out of the way though, and completing Gears of War 2. I'm now replaying the original game, which in some ways feels better than the sequel.. It had a darker, more horror themed feeling... The second one is less glitchy, more polished, and still an amazing experience, but the original definitely has a great feel still...
And whoo, I think that about wraps it up. Again, sorry about the stupidly long delay between our last comments, and I promise in future comments, I'll get back to you MUCH quicker. So again, sorry about that. And the really long comment too for that matter... Haha.
I also got your friend request on Xbox Live too! So maybe we can get some multiplayer gaming going soon! Take care!
P.S. Any new games already out, or coming out sometime in the next few months you wanna pick up? And are you really loving Starcraft? I'm definitely picking that one up soon here too. And maybe Warcraft III. Dunno though.
