STARFIELD finally has a release date, September 6, 2023. Time will tell whether this extra time will contribute to a better experience on that day. It's been rough on next gen games, cross platform and PC, so here's hoping BGS and Mr. Todd Howard have this under control. Either way, this will be one of the biggest gaming events of the year. And to think SPIDER-MAN 2 is due in September/October, too!

In any other year, I'd say HOGWARTS LEGACY is my game of the year, simply because of how beautiful it is and how much fun I'm having with it. (All of this despite the issues on PC!) But we still have so many big hitters coming up - RESIDENT EVIL 4 (looks incredible) this month, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: TEARS OF THE KINGDOM in May, and, of course, FINAL FANTASY XVI coming up - which we just saw tons of gameplay of and if you're a fan of action combat, this is a dream come true (especially if it's anything like DEVIL MAY CRY 5).

This is all without mentioning ASSASSIN'S CREED: MIRAGE, STARFIELD, STREET FIGHTER VI, MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN 2, and AVATAR: FRONTIERS OF PANDORA. 2023 is shaping up to be an incredible year for gaming. I'm leaving out a ton of games, too - including the old school JRPG throwback SEA OF STARS. There's a lot to look forward, but in the meantime, I'm returning to Hogwarts!

Should be beating games, but instead, I'm playing THE CREW 2 on the PS5. Can you even "beat" this game? I'm not sure, but I tried it a few years ago and it wasn't so great. Now, though, they've added a lot of content, trying to beat Forza Horizon at its own game. Might be working, because I've played more of this than FORZA HORIZON 5.
