Enjoyed this one more than I thought I would. The setting, story, characters, and music are all very charming and memorable. The battle system, while being somewhat unbalanced and mildly janky, suits the game very well. I'd say my main gripe would be how slow things start. Battles felt like a bit of a slog until I got the 2nd character. Once I did, though, battling actually became fairly enjoyable. 
For its time, this was a fun little incentive to use StreetPass. Of course, that assumes that you lived in a populous area or at least took your 3DS to conventions. Nowadays... just look up the puzzles on YouTube.
