Thanks for the add man, My favorite Tales game's Would have to be Tales of Destiny Directors Cut (PS2), Tales of Vesperia(PS3) & Tales of Xillia 2. Berseria is Coming along pretty good once I master its combat system is when ill know how good the game is. I typically do Solo tales runs on YouTube, so its best to take my time with everyone of them.

How about you? Have you played all or most of the tales games? I am just now getting into the Final Fantasy Series.

Ar nosurge was a massive improvement over Qoga. It's not as good as Ar Tonelico 2 but I enjoyed it a bit more than AT1.
But it still has a lot of flaws: the areas are way too small, there isn't an indicator telling you were to go next (causing a lot of walking around in circles), the difficulty is really unbalanced (normal is way too easy while hard is just tedious) and there's way too much dialogue during synthesis (so much that I ended up skipping a lot of them because they were just meaningless banter that is in no way relevant to anything).

However the game's biggest flaw is that it's a direct sequel to an untranslated game called Ciel nosurge (and it's been confirmed to never get officially translated) so you're going to be confused a lot whenever they talk about past events (especially in the beginning). I still managed to play the game without knowing Ciel's plot but it did affect my enjoyment quite a lot

I still liked it a lot and if you liked the first two Ar Tonelicos then you'll definitely like this too

As for Xenoblade Chronicles X, I don't really know. As my progress says, I'm not really feeling it. I'm sure it's a great game once you get started on it but I found the beginning to be a chore. I loved the original Xenoblade though so I'll definitely go back to X eventually. I might just play a few more smaller games before it because X really is as massive as they say (and from what I played I can safely say the world is magnificent)

The game looks better and runs smoother, plus many enemies and items have been moved around and changed up. There are a few new secrets to discover as well. I didn't ever play any of the DLC so the main selling point for me was its inclusion in Scholar. I guess whether it is worth it or not all depends on how much you enjoyed what you played of Dark Souls 2 and whether or not you have any interest in the DLC.

Focus: Only playing one game
Well I am not really the best person to ask because I am not a veteran in the souls series. I have only played Dark Souls 1 once and really liked it but I never had the urge to go back to it. Bloodborne on the other hand I adore because I like how they changed the combat system in this one. Its more fast paced and the combat feels more smooth aswell. Its worth getting a PS4 for this game imo.

I ended up not getting it after all, since it was incomplete. I've heard mixed things, but I want it for the collectability of it as well. I collect Atlus published titles so I was hoping I'd get a big one out of the way!

I know I tried one of them in a PS2 and didn't like it much, felt very hard or something like that I'll be sure to check the newer ones though :P

Actually it's very nice. It's my first Atelier game so I can't really compare, but I enjoyed it a lot, lots of stuff to do

In commemoration of my upcoming 5 year anniversary, I'm updating my avatar. The character is Daniel from Gun Sage, a game I've been working on for a while.

I can't really say yet, I just got the review today copy and played less than an hour. What I can say is that like a typical NIS game it is heavily focused on funny dialogues.^^ By the time the game hits shelves I can tell you more.

I think we only ever got Grandia 1 and 2 in the UK. I have copies of both but I've still not gotten around to playing Grandia 2 yet.

Loved Grandia but I couldn't get past one of the last (if not the last) bosses. I'll need to give it another try some day.

If you're playing SoAL, you should try to find 30 (Or I think it was about 30) discoveries ASAP so Domingo stops trying to find em. Then you can recruit him in a restaurant in the middle of the huge valley full of whirlwinds...I'm pretty sure that's how you did it. This makes it way easier to find the discoveries and earn full moneyz for em without that dick Domingo finding em first. And if you met and fought Piastol, you should check up on her ship every time you get the chance. At one point, I beat her each time she picks a fight but for whatever reason she didn't spawn for the final battle :/ Dunno what I did wrong but I can only assume she's a missable boss because at other playthroughs I kinda ignored her and she didn't show up after a certain point regardless of previous victories.

You can ignore this though but it's just some tips I feel you should know for your first time :P

I try to play games without referring to FAQs on a first play through and then if I ever go back and play the game some other time, I'll maybe use a guide to try and find some of the "secrets". Skies of Arcadia does look pretty cool though so I'll need to play it some time.

How is Skies of Arcadia Legends? I picked up a copy of that not too long ago and I've really been wanting to play it! Got so many games I'm wanting to play through right now though.

Well....in SEGA's defense, some of Sonic's newer stuff (Mainly Sonic Colors and Generations) are infinitely better than all the shit before it. We all know nothing gets as bad as Sonic 06. I'd like to say SEGA should merge with another company and just work for them only but then I'm worried something the likes of Square Enix would happen and...yeah...no.

Best case, they make a new version of the game with HD graphics and full voicing. They added Vyse to Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing Transformed so I can see they consider SoA to be one of their more recognized titles. I think it'd be nice to remake more of their better known games like Space Channel 5 and Jet Grind Radio for people who've never played it and wouldn't bother to get a Dreamcast to experience this stuff (Like myself) but it'd never happen. A boy can dream though

I will give SEGA credit for one thing though. They really know how to make a game look really nice and decorated with impressive looking backgrounds and textures. It's not to the level of say, a game like Crysis but it's still really good looking. Colors is really damn pretty for example.

Much to my amazement, the Dreamcast version is cheaper than the Gamecube port...if only by a small margin. It's a really damn good game though I wish it had a sequel or something of the sort :<
