Been on a bit of a shopping trip today. Retailer's been offering 20% off of games. Just couldn't resist.

Been having a bit of a break from gaming in the last few months. Due to losing someone very dear I didn't feel much like playing. Actually, I didn't feel much like doing anything.

So, I'm back from my holiday with a new Nintendo DS in my luggage. It's a Christmas pressie from my sister. She knows just what I like. Absolutely awesome! She's the best!!

Yeah i got DW: Gundam as a birthday present from my siblings, now it can't be a better deal than that, haha! Apparently, my brother said he found this game "used" for less than half the retail price. It was "used" status even though they never played it because the store was using that copy for display. Hurray for a golden find!

I wish they would make a Dynasty Warriors game that features online co-op. I'd play those games with you~!

Hmm... I was under the impression that the PS3 games are region-free regardless of the publisher's wishes. As long as you got an HDTV, you can play any region PS3 games. But if you got a standard TV, you must play a game that supports the correct type of TV (NTSC or PAL). Although I may be wrong about that (I don't have PS3 myself), but I don't see any PS3 region compatibility game list like the 360 has.

The reason for PSP/DS games are region-free are quite simple: Handhelds don't have NTSC or PAL. So there's really no screen conversion to be done.

When did your 360 turned 1 year? And yeah, you should play your games, hehe.

I deleted lots of games because when I created my backlog, it was to keep track of the games i've played, not the games that i've owned. I'm slowly making updates to my BL to change to the list of games i own, meanwhile having a secret backlog for games i've played.
