Just finished it, fun game! Will definitely play Gehenna also.

Didn't finish Gehenna unfortunately. Too hard for me, haha. Half of the puzzles I couldn't solve on my own and had to use Google for which kind of defeats the purpose of the game so I just quit

Ah yeah, that's fair. To be honest I usually don't attempt to plat Ys games because of the difficulty trophy. Don't really feel like punishing myself like that.

Too bad I missed a couple of quests, could've also gotten a non-plat if I hadn't missed them.

Literally the only thing I know about Knack is that he says “ice is nice” at some point and my brother thinks that’s hilarious in a ironic way.

Oh, you inexplicably got a European version of a Switch game from Amazon? That has happened to me twice - with Bubble Bobble and Heroland. Weird.

Yeah I have, I've just been changing games to incomplete if I replay them so that I can use Backloggery to keep track of what I actually finish during the year. I don't really use the site how it's intended, at all.

Yep. Actually I went back to the game, grinding some levels, and tried again. I managed to beat the first boss and played for a while. Grinded some more, went on with the story, but the second boss fight caused me a lot of trouble again and I died.

Really don't feel like constantly losing so much progress. So I might try it again in the future on an emulator or something, at least somewhere I can save my progress anytime. As for the PS2 original, it's just got too few possibilities to save.

Euhh I might be able to. Dunno. There are like 6 combinations confirmed now. All of them from other players or from the forum.

Might give the game another shot if I'm in the right mindset for it. But it painfully reminded me again of why I rarely play retro games.

Ah, I see you've beaten all of the .hack games!

Dunno how to describe them. They were flying and pretty large. It wasn't so much that they were too hard or something, but the first (optional) dungeon is just sooo long without any save points that I've been playing from 13 til 17 o'clock, something like that, without having made much progress because three times in a row some enemy one-hit killed me.

It's really too bad because I was looking forward to playing my first .hack. But it's just too frustrating to continue playing after losing my progress every time again.
