I see, so they fixed that in the girl version. They could've gone the extra mile and let you breed it too, but at least you're not stuck with it forever.
In the boy version I still buy it every time despite everything. I know it's not worth it, but I kinda like it.

"I have a goat, maybe I can finally make some actual money again."
Uh, good luck with that. That goat's gonna stop producing milk soon and will basically turn into a pet that you can't get rid of and takes up a spot in your barn.
It's better to take things slow in AWL though, because the lack of content could make the rest of the game a chore to go through if you get everything too soon.

Oh man, playing Chrono Trigger on the FF Chronicles version...you must have a lot of patience to deal with all those loading times.

I think co-op is a completely different ballgame, to be honest. I played the first game in co-op and found I enjoyed the experience a lot more. The ability to strategize with your co-op partner is a really fun and engaging part of it. I could definitely feel the difference even when I replayed the first game. When playing the sequel, I was frustrated with some of the changes it made to the first game's formula, even though I admired their intent. I felt limited by the amount of Action Points per turn I had and frustrated that I had to focus so heavily on damage in order to stay competitive with enemies, all of which had much more armor, damage, and action points than my party. Building a pure tank designed to crowd control enemies isn't a viable option in the sequel because it's so important to chew through physical and magic armor for your disables to work in the first place.

Having said that, they're both really great games. I just got grumpy with it after playing it for a ridiculous number of hours.

Unravel is cute game. I've been wanting to play the sequel for a while now.
