Personally, I think it will be tied with Return to Monkey Island as my two least favorite games in the series, but do I think it's a bad game? No.

The majority of that old humor is still here, with the occasional joke falling flat and the pop culture references trying too hard to be funny. I'm not really a fan of the controls as I prefer the the point-and-click mechanics of the older games. My biggest issue, and the other games are guilty of this as well but to a much less degree, is that some of the puzzles are FULL moon-logic level of ridiculousness. I've played a lot of adventure games so I'm no stranger to thinking outside the box and trying stuff that seems strange or weird, but this game takes it to a whole new level some times.

Overall, I'm still enjoying my time with the game and I will finish it. I'd also recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the Monkey Island series, but just a heads up that it is nowhere near as good as the original trilogy.

Sh4 - you dont fight on the escalator. its pointless. just try run, dodge and survive it. Otherwise, its not the best game in the series, but still a solid entry. You simply played too much SH at once. SH4 is different in that sense that combat should be avoided when possible. Ghosts cant be killed, so most of the time ther eis no point fighting them.

I gave up long time ago on finishing the backlog. Its honestly next ot impossible for 99% of users on the site. To be fair, its also a pointless endeavour. What do you get out for finishing your list? not much. Its much better to play whwatever you are in mood for. Even if that means replaying the classics.

GIve that VR some love. Before the kids brake it.
