I've been gaming since the Gameboy era, but was strictly a handheld gamer until I picked up a Gamecube and PS2 last generation. All of the retro games I own are things I remember playing at various people's houses during my childhood, so most of them are the normal Nintendo "classics".
My eventual goal is a fully
Backloggery, but realistically I'm aiming for less than 50
games at any given time.
My collection is mostly JRPGs, but I play a bit of everything. My one pet peeve is that I prefer good art direction over good graphics. Ultra-realistic graphics have never looked good to me, so I prefer an Anime-styled look or cell shading. I'm also not a huge fan of WRPGs, with Borderlands being the only exception. Since I find the "Standard Medieval Setting" incredibly dull, I doubt you'll ever see me playing something incorporating it.
I'm always on the lookout for new game recommendations, so feel free to start up a conversation. If you want to add me to your Multitap, please introduce yourself first so I won't be getting random PMs that I'm not expecting
Video Games, Anime, Cooking, Random Tinkering
Power/Symphonic/Death/Folk/Industrial/German Metal, Dark Electro-Industrial, Harsh EBM, Ambient Electric
I keep the Anime I've seen tabulated here (work in progress):[Link][Link]
Any game I'm attempting to get rid of or sell will be added to this list. I'd be happy to trade or give away any games on this list to fellow Backloggery users. Priority will go to my close friends and family. If you are interested in receiving something on this list, please PM me.
Since I don't rent games, this list will signify that I've loaned a game to someone and it isn't currently in my possession.
This tag will be applied to any game that I've played via emulation and want to own, but can't for one reason or another. This usually applies to rare titles that I'm trying to acquire, but can't find for a reasonable price.
