I am planning to play all Gameboy games, but i'm only "finishing" them within reason. I'm only trying to beat games that have an actual ending scene, so "high-score-games" are off the table. I'm playing them and post them as "unfinished" with my high score. Some sport games have no real ending too, not even high scores, like the launch title Baseball. I'm playing them, try to win a match and move on. Also, when it comes to RPGs or Majong games that are japanese only and text-heavy, i'm not playing them at all (except for Pokemon Green).

My motivation to do this, is to get even more accustomed with how monochrome 8 Bits games work, because I want to make one myself in GB-Studio.

Me and my brother just finished a playthrough of the A Link to the Past/Super Metroid randomizer. Really impressed by how well it works. We got into the situation where we had to beat Blind the Thief with the hammer, which was really challenging. Recommended!

It's a decent game with very good pixelart and an interesting elemental system that works a bit like Ikaruga's black/white weapon system.
However, it is VERY short (5-7 hours if you 100 % it) and much of the game feels like they tried to replicate Symphony of the Night but didn't go far enough. For example: Enemies do drop items but only a select few.
I'd say you should wait for a sale to pick up the game. It's not worth the 21 bucks they charge for the download version right now, neither the price I paid for the physical.

Yeah, it was the same in the original. But back then there were only 150 Life Drops instead of 200 and finding them was much easier because of the game being 16 bit and everything being a bit more zoomed out.

Thanks, I do what I can. But no matter how much I play my backlog doesn't seem to get any smaller.
