It would be unfair to compare my love of all Mario platformers to Rayman Origins (or pretty much any platformer for that matter). Mario is too ingrained in me. I like what I've played of the Rayman series, sure, sure. Never said I wasn't interested in Rayman Origins. I might be!

I've pretty much been playing on 3DS, but it's true, it's not ideal. Still, I'd like to just be using on portable Nintendo system. To me, a bigger issue than how the image is displayed is the D-pad location. It's OK when not using the L button, but to use the D-pad an L button at the same time just doesn't work (for me). The analog pad also works, but it can be a bit touchy with navigating menus... it's easy to hit say, down on accident when intending to go just left or right.
